For every video tape transfer, we include a quality letter to help set expectations based on the condition of the original materials. Our goal is always to preserve anything that can still be captured, since many clients are trusting us with important memories. When there is viewable content, even if limited, we digitize it so you have access to everything that still exists on the tape.

“Really special to have our grandparents audio cassettes transferred to digital audio files. We have found the ever present app to be a bit cumbersome and wish that it was more intuitive. The audio files need to be re-labeled to better identify their content, but I don’t see that option. Being able to sort the files into different categories would be helpful also.”

“I clearly, or at least I thought I clearly instructed the person who was handling my project, which negatives I wanted scanned, and also included written instructions. The result was about 60 negatives were scanned that I said not to scan. I didn’t complain, I just paid for everything. I blamed myself for not making it clear enough. It wasn’t a big deal to me. When the project was completed, I wasn’t happy with the quality at all. All the negatives were much too contrasty. I can’t even use them. I thought using Everpresent was worth a try because the prices are so low. I was looking for much higher quality, and you have to pay for that.”

An attempt to play several in our 8mm video recorder resulted in stuck film, broken film, etc., and a realization that they were now worthless . . . .unless we could find a solution. So, we took a chance on EVERPRESENT and hoped for the best. 6-8 weeks later a box arrived with dozens of carefully package and labeled CDs.
