“I received my Turbowheel Lightning 5 days ago and have logged 70 + leisure miles on it. Initially, I was disappointed because the battery would not charge higher than 3 bars. Then I began going through the settings and realized I had the battery voltage set at 60v rather that 52v. Now my battery fully charges and no issue there. Then I was disappointed because the stem squeaked a lot while riding. Then I purchased a $4 tube of lithium grease and unclamped the stem. Then greased the heck out of all the parts that might have friction and the squeaking is gone. Everything works great. Single motor mood is cool and smooth. I was able to get to 26 mph on the straights and 12 mph up pretty steep hills. Now dual motor is a different animal. I am 6’-3” and I weight 235 lbs. I was able to get up to 36 mph on the straights and 25 mph up pretty steep hills. Dual motor is very powerful and a little jerky on initial take off, but I love it! I never felt unsafe at any speed. I would give the scooter a 10 out of 10 because it has now met all my expectations. Just remember to get some lithium grease for the stem and hold on tight when in dual motor mood because this thing pulls like crazy!!! I live in Washington DC and this scooter rocks thus far.”

“Great customer service! I put a deposit down on 4 scooters. And as promised, I received an email on the day that they said they’d have the scooters available. I couldn’t complete my payment online, so I called and spoke with Jason. He was awesome! He helped me complete my purchase, as well as answer my endless list of newbie scooter questions. They were shipped promptly and have been having a blast on them ever since the day they arrived! I’d highly recommend ewheels as a company and for their product!”

“I just discovered eWheels maybe a couple of months ago via researching the best eUnicycle for me. Jason @ eWheels was extremely helpful in helping me to make my decision. It basically boiled down to what would be able to support my weight - I'm close to about 6' @ 260lbs and obviously most of the entry level wheels wouldn't support that so it became a process of elimination search. It whittled down to a choice between the Kingsong 18XL and the upcoming (at the time) Kingsong 16X. I chose the 16X because it was the latest / newest and because most of the features it had in contrast to some of the similar wheels in the market along with the input of several comparisons made by those in the know. Then began the wait for release date. eWheels kept me updated on the release and even gave an opportunity for early release shipping which I took because I figured, having NEVER ridden a EUC before, I'd need to start learning as soon as possible! The wheel was shipped and received in days and I have to say that it has been one of the best purchase decisions I've ever made! I first saw a EUC in Paris a couple of years ago and was awestruck by the guy zipping by on a one wheeled device (in my mind, to and from work because my wife and I saw him around the same time on a couple of days) "What the heck is that?!" I thought and Google searched it after getting back to the states. I learned about it but didn't pursue because I live in Atlanta, GA and where in the heck would I ride something like that here? (Atlanta is a mostly Interstate heavy city with a lot of suburban outskirt cities) Fast forward a couple years and during a trip to D.C., my wife and I caught the Scooter craze after renting them from around the city and we just HAD to have our own, so endeavored to get a couple after returning home. Well one of us would get a scooter but the other would finally get the EUC he'd seen a couple years earlier. My wife bought a Nanbot 5 and I purchased the 16X mentioned earlier and after I learned how to stop falling (That only happened 3 times, I'm proud to say - twice in the same day though) I've ridden the wheel in quite a few areas despite Atlanta not being a big connected city like New York or most northern landscapes. I'm closer to 50 than to 40 and heavier than I should be but the 16X handles the challenge like a champ! The learning curve for riding isn't as terrifying as I initially thought it would be but I'm still learning - I'm even thinking about purchasing a second wheel just to have a back-up (from eWheels of course!) Like ANY purchase though, great customer service and information flow is key and Jason / eWheels has proven to be great at dispensing both.”

“My new toy is what I call it. The best purchase I’ve ever made in 5 years and I wouldn’t change a thing. This scooter is a beast with power that continues for miles nonstop. Being the only thing you could want more is speed and with this toy the speed is perfect. Thank you ewheels for a great product.”

“I've bought 3 wheels from ewheels so far, and have been very satisfied. Jason is very responsive to problems and also helpful in setting up the wheel. The King Song 14D I bought had a problem with its handle, and Jason sent a new handle out very quickly to resolve the issue. When I buy another wheel, I will look to ewheels first.”
