“We ordered a mat for our dining table, and in addition to it being cut the wrong size, there was a flaw in the material. True to their word, after sending pictures to them, they sent a return label for the mat and shipped a new one, which fit and looks great!”

“When I first ordered this mat, I was not really happy about the quality The edges were curled up. I thought it was temporary so I gave it a few days. This didn’t change. I contacted the company and they sent out a new mat. So far, it’s holding up well.”

“I rated the ExactMats I ordered as a 4 because I expected the product would be more rigid than it turned out to acually be. I was expecting a product that would retain its shape like a solid wood top desk. The product is soft which means if you place a heavy object on it and leave it for a protracted period, the mat will become depressed and reflect the shape of the heavy object. I still will use the product to cover my desk top as it is an improvement because it will protect the top of my desk.”

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear the product did not 100% meet your expectations. That's not what we want at all! After all, our customers' satisfaction is our #1 priority! To clarify, while our product is made to look similar to glass, it does not share all of the same physical or chemical attributes as glass. Vinyl is not typically rigid like glass, for instance. That said, our product is rolled up for shipping and can be rolled for storage, and does have a bit of give (this is due to the impact resistance in the material), but it should not cause any permanent impressions unless a very heavy object has been sitting on the product for a prolonged period of time. That said, it looks like our team contacted you to see if there was anything else we could do. They've let us know that you've opted to keep this existing mat for protection purposes. We're glad to hear our mat is helping to protect your surface, but please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist. Thanks!

“The quality of the mat was very good, but I asked for 22.25 inches width, and they cut it to 22.0 inches. Still usable, but that's concerning for a company that calls itself EXACTmats.”

In regards to using the product with a mouse: although the product is not designed to be used as a mousepad, but rather a surface protector, customers have had much success using our products as a mousepad when there is a pattern or woodgrain under the mat - an optical mouse should be able to pick up the movement. If you have a surface like this, and you are experiencing issues, please reach out to our Support Team (Support@ExactMats.com) for further assistance. That said, if the material is on top of a solid, monochrome surface, due to the nature of a clear product and how a laser mouse works, the mouse may not be able to read that it's moving. If this is the case, we would suggest adding a mouse pad to the top of the desk cover. We hope this is helpful! “Our table cover was manufactured and shipped so quickly that it was amazing. The material was as advertised - perfectly clear and colorless. It was necessary to return our cover for an exchange because one of the dimensions was just slightly too long (some sort of expansion during shipment, apparently). Also, we will need to try the hair dryer trick when our new cover arrives, because the edges wouldn’t lay perfectly flat (probably due to cold weather making it stiff). Customer service was excellent in handling our return.”

Once you receive the mat, you'll just want to unroll the mat and lay it flat on your surface. The mat should return to its flat state within a few hours to a day or so. “Don't get me wrong the mats are nice but compared to the ones I had in my 2013 they are a little thinner and don't have the outside ridge that kept water inside the mat.”

“The mat is well made, heavy, and fits perfectly. The only reason I have not rated it 5 stars is that I am uncertain about the design. I've owned many of these mats for vehicles ranging from a Mercedes S-Class to a Ford Bronco II. One design of these mats is to have raised edges so that the mat is, essentially, a tray that will hold spills, melted snow etc. The more common design is for the mat to have a pattern of indentations or pockets to hold spills etc. The ExactMat has a pattern of raised dimples. The problem with the "tray" design is that objects will slide around as the mats are hard and slick. The problem with the "pocket" design is that they are hard to clean. Usually, you have to pull them from the trunk and hose them off. The problem with the ExactMat is that it will not hold spills. If you live in snow country and will be putting wet boots or gear in the trunk, don't buy the ExactMat. As I live in Florida and to not expect to be carrying liquids in the trunk that might spill, I expect that I will be very happy with the "dimpled" mat as it will easy to vacuum up the grass and dirt from my golf shoes in comparison with a "pocket" mat.”

Our products certainly are different from the other products you mentioned, however, we do want to mention that, although they may not catch a 32 ounce soda spill like some tray designs can, our auto mats do retain a bit of liquid by pooling. We think you'll notice how great it works right away and we hope you enjoy for years to come!

“I sent a diagram to them and within 48 hours they responded that they couldn’t make my mat according to my diagram, but offered an immediate solution to send me an exact mat that I could cut to fit for my project. I ordered it and in 4 days it arrived. My customer experience was excellent. If I need another mat I would definitely use Exactmats again.”

“They fit perfectly….And work beautifully. This is my third order for the drivers mat…….obviously i am pleased w the fit, the clarity allowing my lexus floor color to show through……the only concern is that after awhile it yellows. i am retired ……drive mostly local……and am most careful about a clean car……..”

First, we would like to assure you that the product itself, which is made from nothing but the highest quality ingredients, is not yellowing on its own as the product itself does not yellow. However, like other mats that see constant foot traffic, they can be susceptible to damage from dirt, debris, and oils (such as those from asphalt) as they all have the ability to breakdown plastic. Typically, if a mat / set is well-maintained (we recommend cleaning mats with Dawn Dish Soap and warm water once every other month, or as needed) you won't see yellowing. We recommend reviewing our FAQs on our website for more information about mat maintenance. “These mats are really high quality and fit perfectly. The only small complaint I had is in regard to a video that showed a pre-cut hole in the back mat so that I could access the handle. The mat did not come with that pre-cut hole, but love everything about them other than that.”

It sounds like you are referring to one of our images that shows a mat with a cut-out for the handle.
