“I just ordered and recieved my second ExactMat and am quite pleased. My first was a perfect fit for the lovely wooden desk without which I would have ruined the finish in short order. I moved on to my gorgeous, multi-grained wood dining room table which is very long and an unusual oval shape that wasn't an automatic match with the standard shapes offered. Katie, the ExactMats customer service rep I worked with in both cases, was super helpful and coached me through the process of drawing the outline of the table on a special enormous piec of tissue paper they sent me and which they used to fabricate the perfect shape. unfortunately the sizing didn't work perfectly (probably due to the fat marker I used to mark the shape and edges), and the length of the mat isn't exact, leaving 1/8 to 2/8" exposed on the ends. Not gonna worry about it though, as it's the surface I was most concerned about protecting. The mat looks gorgeous and it's so nice to show off the beautiful wood grain, after years of hiding it under an ugly vinyl custom mat. Kudos and thanks to Katie who was so patient with all my questions and back and forth. A wonderful communicator and a terrific corporate representative.”

“Using as Floor Chair Mat, to protect hardwood floors. Ordering, Shipping, and product condition was excellent. Selected clear option. Looks excellent, easy to lift to clean under. Clarity is good. Could be 2 inches deeper to cover movement of chair. I moved the mat 2 " away from desk and that seeems to work. I would custom order my size next time.”

“This is the second set of Exact Mats for BMW X5 (2019-2024). I ordered a set for my X5 first and they fit perfectly. However, the second set that were ordered for Bennie Greathouse had a problem with the cargo mat. He is keeping it, but it is a bit too wide. I don't really understand why mine fit perfectly and although his X5 is identical, the cargo mat did not fit perfectly. I would imagine they were not cut exactly the same, although I am sure there is a template. Disappointing, and I encouraged him to send it back, but he didn't want to bother with it.”

“Cut perfectly to size as requested! Took a few days for the plastic-y smell and lines from being rolled up to disappear, now lays nice and flat in our dining table! Have noticed small scratches already from light use (dishes, coasters), but not noticeable unless you’re really looking. I kind of wish it could be more matte instead of glossy/shiny.”

Thank you for your review. We're so glad you're happy with your new table cover. As for shine, if you are ever looking for a more matte/textured finish, we do offer Riverstone. This texture is pretty neat because it's double-sided (one side has Riverstone/texture and the other side is more like Crystal), making it reversible. The texture also hides existing surface damage very nicely. If you have any questions about our finishes, though, please don't hesitate to reach out! We're more than happy to help!

In the future, should you be interested in a less shiny mat, we do offer a textured option called Riverstone (textured on one side, flat/smooth on the other - making it reversible). This can happen due to a few reasons, but one of them is the temperature in which the product was primarily in during transit, and the temperature it arrived in. We have a few great articles in our FAQs about how to more quickly flatten, but it sounds like you got it taken care of. If you plan to roll it up for storage, we recommend reviewing those FAQs upon removing it from storage, so that you may more quickly flatten it in the future. We hope you enjoy!

“We ordered this custom sized table protector for a second home overseas. The customer service was very good, replied quickly, with helpful answers. The product was made and shipped quickly and arrived well packaged. Once we rolled it open, we discovered that the measurements were not exactly right and the cuts were not perfectly square. In the end we had to mark and cut this item to fit better. The width was perfect but the length was ¼ inch too long on one corner and ⅛ inch too long on the other corner (of the same side). After these minor repairs, we are happy with the product. 4 stars for being very close but not perfect.”

If it does not, we highly recommend reaching out before adjusting so that we may troubleshoot and resolve the issue. If it is within the 1/8" guarantee, but it has a tiny amount of excess material you'd like to remove, trimming is very simple. “The rear area of my 2025 is not the exact same as the 2019 -2024’s. However the quality of the exactmats is still superior to any other protective mats. I had previously purchased them for my Audi and my tundra, and now for my new Ram. Aero products well worth the price!!!!!”
