As far as the finish, it looks like you selected the Crystal material (completely clear and smooth on both sides). This material is designed to look like glass, so it does have the same reflective properties as glass when light hits it. If you are ever looking for something a bit less "reflective" than the Crystal material, we do offer another finish called Riverstone. The Riverstone material has a slightly pebbled finish on one side and a smooth finish on the other side. Placing the textured side of the material facing up refracts a bit of light. “I used my ExactMat for a 24 x 60 standing desktop and initially was a bit disappointed as it didn't lay as flat as I had hoped. This was particulary noticible as the reflections from the room can lighting made the waves very noticable. After two weeks time (and a bit of hot air from the hair dryer) the mat has flattened nicely. I don't think it will every be as flat as a piece of glass but I have received complements and it preforms very well and very nice to have a "whole desk" pad.”

“I ordered a custom made, elliptical mat for a new kitchen table with a beautiful wood top. The mat arrived faster than expected, and fits the table pefectly. It's only been in place for a couple of weeks, but I can already see the value of this mat. It will for certain protect the lovely wood from spills or other damage. The mat was not inexpensive, but it is worth the cost. The only reason for 4 stars versus 5: The mat has visible "sticky woodgrain lines" on the underside, presumably from where there may have been polish (though the table was very clean and dry when the mat was placed). I tried to clean these off, but to no avail. Also, things don't slide easily on the mat, which has benefits as well as drawbacks. I assume it isn't easy for things to spill because items on the table don't move as readily as they would otherwise; on the other hand, it's a little challenging when playing cards or intentionally sliding things across the table. All in all, it looks way, way better than a clear tablecloth, which would have been the only other option to protect the lovely table and allow the beautiful wood finish to shine through.”

“This plastic table protector is just what I need for my new dining room table. My only issue is that I wish it was a little more of a mat finish. But it is cut perfect as I specified. And shipping was very timely. And I was kept up-to-date as to what was going on with my shipment. I’m very happy with the purchase. We just ordered another one for our new coffee table.”

“I used these this weekend on a new dining table that I was going to have children sitting at, and they worked wonderfully. I am not giving it the highest stars only because they are going to be difficult to store when not in use. If I need to roll them everytime to store them, they will be hard to smooth out each time. They arrived rolled and I used 7-10 heavy books to get them to sit flush on the table. To their credit once smoothed on the table they stayed flush and did not roll back.”

Hi Darcy, Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad the mats performed well on your dining table. As far as storing the mat, it can easily be rolled and stored when not in use. If you are going to store it rolled for extended periods of time, we do suggest giving the mat a little bit of time to flatten out once you are ready to use it again. So if you are pulling it out for a party or an event, depending on how long it has been stored, we would suggest giving it a day or two ahead of time to air out and return to its completely flat state. You can also speed up the flattening process with heat. (A warm setting on a blow dryer or placing the mat in warm water). “Took awhile to get the heavy vinyl smell out, but I sprayed with vinyl cleaner left outside in the sun and rain for a week, and it seemed to dissapate. The fit is dead on and lets the original carpet stay visible.”

There is a natural off-gassing process (not to be confused with harmful “out-gassing”) for any newly made plastic or vinyl. This occurs soon after an order is produced and typically only lasts a few days after unboxing. This happens with nearly every plastic product there is, like a new shower curtain or beachball. That said, due to our products’ special formulations (pure virgin vinyl, lead-free, BPA-free, and phthalate-free), the scent you are experiencing is not harmful and should dissipate. “These match the mats perfectly; I wish I had ordered them when we first bougth the car. The plastic is supple so that it stays in place; it does not curl up. Time will tell if the plastic remains supple or will harden with time. (i've only had them for about a week).”

“My mats fit perfectly, and I love them! I just have one minor concern: The stickers on the mats left sticky marks and scrathes after tring to rub them off with a sponge,could the stickers be placed on the wrapping papers instead?! Thank you!”

This is not the norm, and we can certainly understand why it would not be ideal. Typically, the stickers we use are low-adhesive, which allows for easy removal. However, it's possible that, due to heat in transit, that the stickers were a little more adhesive than usual. “Shipping was quick. I got exactly what I ordered. It will definitely do the job to protect an old desk top. If it helps anyone else: With my limited personal experience, I could not really imagine the look and feel of the material options. I had to make a guess. If I were to do it again, I would drop thinner from 80ml and maybe not glossy. The glossy is VERY shiny while the old desk is not shiny. It is crystal clear however, which is nice. Can’t say what the other finish option would have looked like. Overall it does the job I wanted it to do and I would order again from this company.”

“The floor mat is good quality, but didn't quite fit the 2025 Kia Telluride - the design is slightly different from the factory floor mat, as it covers the foot rest that sits to the left of the pedals. The mat had to be trimmed slightly to fit well.”

We're so sorry to hear your mat did not fit as expected. We can certainly understand how that would not be ideal. However, looking at your Support Ticket with our team, it sounds like there was some confusion with the fitment. In your ticket, our Support Team relayed the difference between X-Edition and our Clear mats, which are both designed differently. Normally, we would offer an exchange or replacement if the fitment was truly incorrect, but it sounds like the fit was correct for the mat type selected, and that the mat had already been manually cut down to fit to preference. We're glad to hear you were able to trim them to fit your needs, but are, unfortunately, no longer able to do a return or exchange after at-home trimming is done. That said, we hope you enjoy your new mats and their updated fitment. Here's to keeping your vehicle clean and free of debris for years to come!

“We got new furniture for our sunroom, a coffee table and two end tables were included. We ordered the mats to cover our 3 tables. We are happy with the liners. They seem to stay in place fairly well. We place foreign money as a decoration on the tables and the clear liners work well with keeping the money in place and serve as a reminder of the countries we have visited or where family or friends have gone and given us foreign bills after their travels. We were a little skeptical at first because the mats came folded up. We were not sure they would lie flat. But after about two days they did adhere to the tables without any buckling. We put little corner holders on each corner to make sure that the liners do not move around.”

“Not enough time has gone by to review the full performance of Exacto Mat. I like the thickness. It does allow the beauty of the hardwood table to shine through without damaging the surface through scratches and liquid. I say it's not quite exact because the website does.mot accept actual exact measurements. So I had the check and option closest to the table size. Also, with the chosen option, I was unable to get rounded corners. However, you can cut your own with an exacto knife after making a template.”
