“Shipping was quick. I got exactly what I ordered. It will definitely do the job to protect an old desk top. If it helps anyone else: With my limited personal experience, I could not really imagine the look and feel of the material options. I had to make a guess. If I were to do it again, I would drop thinner from 80ml and maybe not glossy. The glossy is VERY shiny while the old desk is not shiny. It is crystal clear however, which is nice. Can’t say what the other finish option would have looked like. Overall it does the job I wanted it to do and I would order again from this company.”

“Good quality but the texture does not allow you to see the stain on the table. We got an awesome new table and now can't see the color. Will need to shop for an option that does not hide the beauty of the stained wood.”

“The floor mat is good quality, but didn't quite fit the 2025 Kia Telluride - the design is slightly different from the factory floor mat, as it covers the foot rest that sits to the left of the pedals. The mat had to be trimmed slightly to fit well.”

“The mats are sturdy and feel like they'll hold up for a while. However, they are not what I expected. The edges are unfinished and cheapen the look. That said, they look 100% better than my original worn out mats.”

“We got new furniture for our sunroom, a coffee table and two end tables were included. We ordered the mats to cover our 3 tables. We are happy with the liners. They seem to stay in place fairly well. We place foreign money as a decoration on the tables and the clear liners work well with keeping the money in place and serve as a reminder of the countries we have visited or where family or friends have gone and given us foreign bills after their travels. We were a little skeptical at first because the mats came folded up. We were not sure they would lie flat. But after about two days they did adhere to the tables without any buckling. We put little corner holders on each corner to make sure that the liners do not move around.”

“Not enough time has gone by to review the full performance of Exacto Mat. I like the thickness. It does allow the beauty of the hardwood table to shine through without damaging the surface through scratches and liquid. I say it's not quite exact because the website does.mot accept actual exact measurements. So I had the check and option closest to the table size. Also, with the chosen option, I was unable to get rounded corners. However, you can cut your own with an exacto knife after making a template.”

It accepts inches, and fractions of an inch can be entered as well - in decimal format or with the fractions drop-down. “Mat arrived in 5 days. Rolled, in a box. Material is great. Size perfect. Only issue: when placed on desk with riverstone surface down, the ends are slightly lifted (not tight to the desk surface). Following advise from ExactMats, the mat ends were heated with a hair dryer and the problem was resolved.”

“I ordered a custom octagonal mat, but got no update on progress for a week. Immediate notification of a normal custom production delay and updates would have been better. The shipping box was severely smashed when I received it, but that was due to the delivery service. I would have appreciated at least an apology note from them or better yet an automatic return to you for replacement. Thankfully, the mat wasn't permanently damaged. Your representative explained to me how to flatten it. When I had a chance to measure the mat, it was 1/4" short on two of the four measurements, but still usable for my purpose.”

“I want to thank the customer service for being outstanding , fast, and kind. I got a custom size for my round coffee table. And whle it fits and protects, the vinyl shine /glare is a bit unexpected. Its taking awhile for it to fully lie flat so hopefully it will begin to blend in a bit better.”

“Mats cut to perfection down to the 1/16". I think 80mil recommended on ExactMat website for table top liners is too thick/stiff & heavy. I wish I had ordered 60mil.”

“I ordered a rectangular mat for the top of our new clothes dryer, for two reasons: 1) the top is sloped, and laundrey baskets tended to slide off, and 2) to protect the actual surface from being scratched First ExactMats shipped a circular mat, similar in size but definitely not what I had ordered. I'm guessing that maybe two similar mats were sitting in their work area... As soon as I sent them a photo, though, they sent the correct mat and it seems to be doing its job. The top of our clothes dryer is the usual white metal top (enamel?) and where the mat has "glommed on" to the surface you can see where it's touching, so in this application it is NOT invisible. But this is our utility room, so it absolutely doesn't matter. I didn't purchase the patterned mat because I WANT the mat to have high friction, and when I've repositioned it, it shows no inappropriate adhesion. Just what I wanted.”

It sounds like there may have been a little bit of confusion in relation to our materials, so we'd like to clarify a couple of things. While all thicknesses of our material can technically be used to protect a surface, they do not all look or perform identically. The 60 and 80Mil varieties are thicker and heavier, which makes for a perfect table cover that doesn't slide around. The 40Mil, however, is typically too light and slides a bit more. This may be ok for temporary use cases (and is amazing in shelves and drawers, of course), but due to weight, it's not something we recommend for continued use on tables. “Quick service and as always perfect cuts and great product. Taking one star off only due to the color of the floor mat. I picked specifically floor mat section as I had ordered protectors before for on top of the rug or under the desk and they were perfect. I wanted a floor mat figured it needed to be thicker and more absorbent in those wet areas? I got the floor mat hoping to maintain the color of the wood present without the loss of the ambiance in the kitchen however the mat has a slight bluish tint to it and it doesn’t let the wood color shine completely through. (Our wood floors are natural wood color with clear coating). Outside of that, it is perfect to protect the wet area around the sink and even as a floor mat next to one of our exit doors. It is not like an anti-fatigue mat or even remotely absorbent, just protecting the area from wetness.”
