“I ordered a rectangular mat for the top of our new clothes dryer, for two reasons: 1) the top is sloped, and laundrey baskets tended to slide off, and 2) to protect the actual surface from being scratched First ExactMats shipped a circular mat, similar in size but definitely not what I had ordered. I'm guessing that maybe two similar mats were sitting in their work area... As soon as I sent them a photo, though, they sent the correct mat and it seems to be doing its job. The top of our clothes dryer is the usual white metal top (enamel?) and where the mat has "glommed on" to the surface you can see where it's touching, so in this application it is NOT invisible. But this is our utility room, so it absolutely doesn't matter. I didn't purchase the patterned mat because I WANT the mat to have high friction, and when I've repositioned it, it shows no inappropriate adhesion. Just what I wanted.”

It sounds like there may have been a little bit of confusion in relation to our materials, so we'd like to clarify a couple of things. While all thicknesses of our material can technically be used to protect a surface, they do not all look or perform identically. The 60 and 80Mil varieties are thicker and heavier, which makes for a perfect table cover that doesn't slide around. The 40Mil, however, is typically too light and slides a bit more. This may be ok for temporary use cases (and is amazing in shelves and drawers, of course), but due to weight, it's not something we recommend for continued use on tables. “Quick service and as always perfect cuts and great product. Taking one star off only due to the color of the floor mat. I picked specifically floor mat section as I had ordered protectors before for on top of the rug or under the desk and they were perfect. I wanted a floor mat figured it needed to be thicker and more absorbent in those wet areas? I got the floor mat hoping to maintain the color of the wood present without the loss of the ambiance in the kitchen however the mat has a slight bluish tint to it and it doesn’t let the wood color shine completely through. (Our wood floors are natural wood color with clear coating). Outside of that, it is perfect to protect the wet area around the sink and even as a floor mat next to one of our exit doors. It is not like an anti-fatigue mat or even remotely absorbent, just protecting the area from wetness.”

“I have hesitated to write a review, because I was not completely satisfied. The first 5-sided one was made with the textured side up, but it fit perfectly. The second one was made with the textures side down, but it was made 0.3" too short, 23.95" instead of 24.25 on the right edge. My husband didn't want to mess with it, so we have the uncovered countertop to the back of the two backsplash sides. It's not ideal, because if it moves a little, I have to take time to reposition it. The first one that was made upside down, all I had to do was put it in the back 135 degree angle. My other concern is the way your company rolls the mats. If it is Riverstone, it should be rolled with the smooth side inside the roll. I have tried everything including time, and they do not want to lay flat. My easiest one was the clear drawer mat. I could lay it either way so I laid it against the roll. My Riverstone ones still have all 4 edges curving up. Just a thought. The customer service was excellent, especially because the 5-sided shape was certainly complex.”

“I've downsized my office and the size of this mat is perfect for what I needed. It's good quality and the price is quite reasonable. It's a little too "soft" for the chair to glide over easily. But it's protecting the carpet and that was my main concern.”

Our cleated material is made for low-pile carpeting and is primarily designed to be used on carpet runners. Due to this, it is not recommended as a floor mat under a rolling chair. “I just ordered and recieved my second ExactMat and am quite pleased. My first was a perfect fit for the lovely wooden desk without which I would have ruined the finish in short order. I moved on to my gorgeous, multi-grained wood dining room table which is very long and an unusual oval shape that wasn't an automatic match with the standard shapes offered. Katie, the ExactMats customer service rep I worked with in both cases, was super helpful and coached me through the process of drawing the outline of the table on a special enormous piec of tissue paper they sent me and which they used to fabricate the perfect shape. unfortunately the sizing didn't work perfectly (probably due to the fat marker I used to mark the shape and edges), and the length of the mat isn't exact, leaving 1/8 to 2/8" exposed on the ends. Not gonna worry about it though, as it's the surface I was most concerned about protecting. The mat looks gorgeous and it's so nice to show off the beautiful wood grain, after years of hiding it under an ugly vinyl custom mat. Kudos and thanks to Katie who was so patient with all my questions and back and forth. A wonderful communicator and a terrific corporate representative.”

“Using as Floor Chair Mat, to protect hardwood floors. Ordering, Shipping, and product condition was excellent. Selected clear option. Looks excellent, easy to lift to clean under. Clarity is good. Could be 2 inches deeper to cover movement of chair. I moved the mat 2 " away from desk and that seeems to work. I would custom order my size next time.”

“This is the second set of Exact Mats for BMW X5 (2019-2024). I ordered a set for my X5 first and they fit perfectly. However, the second set that were ordered for Bennie Greathouse had a problem with the cargo mat. He is keeping it, but it is a bit too wide. I don't really understand why mine fit perfectly and although his X5 is identical, the cargo mat did not fit perfectly. I would imagine they were not cut exactly the same, although I am sure there is a template. Disappointing, and I encouraged him to send it back, but he didn't want to bother with it.”

“Cut perfectly to size as requested! Took a few days for the plastic-y smell and lines from being rolled up to disappear, now lays nice and flat in our dining table! Have noticed small scratches already from light use (dishes, coasters), but not noticeable unless you’re really looking. I kind of wish it could be more matte instead of glossy/shiny.”

This texture is pretty neat because it's double-sided (one side has Riverstone/texture and the other side is more like Crystal), making it reversible.
