“ExactMats was able to provide me with protective covers for my black Formica counter top. This is working out great as they prevent scratches and fingerprints. Also makes cleaning up a lot easier.”

“We bought an ExactMat to cover a hope chest we use as our living room coffee table. Since it's an antique, we wanted to protect it without just covering it up. The ExactMat does exactly what we need it to do. It protects the wood, prevents damage, cushions from blows, allows the natural wood to shine through, and looks nice! Ours was a couple of centimeters off on one side, but we have it on an antique and homemade piece of furniture so the minuscule amount of space on one side not being covered isn't a dealbreaker for us. Highly recommend these mats for covering any piece of furniture you want to protect! Easy to order, easy to use, doesn't slide around, doesn't "stick" (which might cause damage to wood surfaces), and no assembly required! How can it get any easier than that?”

“Old review: ============== The mat smells so toxic that I couldn't handle it inside the house. The smell gave me a massive headache. I took it outside to air, and it's been way over a month and still smells bad. I've used many vinyl / plastic products inside the house including LVP flooring, other plastic covers, and NONE of them ever gave a smell. I don't consider myself sensitive to smell by any means. I'm surprised with how bad this product smells, and even more shocked with how long it takes to air it outside. What a waste of money. Updated review: ===================== The representatives from ExactMats contacted me about this issue after my first review. They mentioned their new factory makes less smelly products. They sent me a replacement to try. Upon opening the table mat, I can immediately smell a difference, it's indeed much better! After airing it in my garage floor for several weeks, I'm finally able to use it and it won't smell at all. At the end, I'm happy with the product, but I just wish it airs a lot faster than several weeks.”

“Took longer than expected to flatten in a warm room (a week) despite suggested methods for hastening, but lying flat now. Nice, thick protective layer for coffee table. Delivery time as promised. Box was nearly destroyed on one end upon delivery, so had been worried about damage to rolled mat, but the mat was untouched. This is less expensive than plexiglass or glass, and is clear enough for our purposes.”

“Mats were perfect and look fantastic on all the cabinet shelves, worth the wait. Due to delays with their material supplier, mats took more than 7 days to be delivered after placing the order, and the "RainWater" option is not available as advertised on the website due to supplier chain issues. I placed the order on 02/06 and mats arrived on 02/24. At the time of the order, the only material available was the "Crystal" option and I was told it would take three months or so to get the "Rainwater" option. I also have to say that I wish the packaging was done differently. The mats were packaged rolled inside the boxes, so as soon as the mats arrived I had to extend them all over the floor so they would keep flat. It would be better to package them flat, I understand the larger mats need to be rolled but those are only a few. Just some feedback for your team. This is the picture of the packages as left by FedEx on my porch.”

Delays, while uncommon, are definitely not what we want and will be something we will continue to work to improve. In regards to flat shipping - while we'd love to ship all items flat (we do ship some smaller items flat), unfortunately, it's just not feasible at this time. Shipping flat is more pricey than standard shipping, so to keep our price point and shipping costs competitive, many of our products are rolled. That said, we'll absolutely forward your feedback!

“Great Product. Great Service. FAST shipping. My only issue is not the fault of the company. I have a big passenger van and the mats are in sections, with cutout areas for the seat hook-ups. Which is great for the folks that have familes and leave all the seats in. Mine is a dog mobile and I haul dog cages so all the places that had the cut-outs for the seats are open, exposing the carpet. Thats not the fault of your product. I'm the oddity and didnt think the whole thing thru. So duct tape to the rescue. If I had to do it over, I maybe would have asked to special order the sections with np cutouts. if that is even an option.”

“The mat fits nicely into the space. As delivered, the floor anchors were installed 90 degrees off and had the be rotated to the correct position. The bumpy texture of the mat takes some getting used to, as it can offer some resistance to sliding your shoe rearward depending on the shoe’s heel. Also, since it doesn’t have sides like the OEM floor mat, rainwater or spilled liquids can run off onto the underlying carpet.”

We've found that this type of all-season mat is great for all kinds of weather, but if you are looking for something that catches much more liquid than average, our mats are not going to do so. “Mats are good fit and stay in place. My only issue is the sharp spikes on the underside of the mats, that scratch or could harm your bare hands when removing mats from the box and handling them for placement in car. There should be a warning about that or a suggestion to wear gloves.”

“Good service fast shipping I like the product maybe a bit overpriced. Having had it now over a month, I see it does get scuffed, and if you put anything too hot on there like a bowl of soup you might leave a mark. Typically we recommend this for shelf and drawer liners, but we also offer an 80Mil solution, which is twice as thick (and heavy) and is more versatile. Looking at the dimensions of the product you purchased, it appears you may not be using these for shelves and drawers, and instead, are using it for a larger surface, such as a table. If this is the case, the 80Mil may be a much better option.
