“On our visit the lounge was very crouded with very few spare seats. We had to politely ask people if we could share a table with them. It felt as if the lounge had been over booked. For such a large airport, perhaps a large lounge is required? We were travelling on our honeymoon and booked the lounge for a treat. We ended up leaving an hour earlier than planned and went to Fortnam & Mason for a glass of fizz instead as we felt overcrowded in the lounge”

“Lounge was quite good, drinks and staff were fine, nice to be able to look over the runway while waiting for your Flight. The only disappointment was the hot food which was very bland.”

“Nice atmosphere, comfy sofas, wifi worked, it was very clean, service was friendly, the coffee was very good and you have a main course included instead of just snacks as in many lounges. I would recommend it, but it would be even better if it had showers, a desk area, and if there were a little more variety in the food and drink. Also, one of the automated bathroom flushers and taps was not working properly.”

“Lounge was really clean and comfortable to sit in. Food was lovely from the 2 hot dishes to the excellent salad bar. Drink was also no problem. When were were finished with each drink or food plate they were cleared up right away with a lovely lady.”

“Was as expected with one drawback. When booked, a hot gluten free option was available. This was not the case and therefore had to settle for what cold gluten free was available.”

“I have never stayed in Executive Lounges before and this was my first trip to South Africa O Tambo Airport. I was delighted by what I saw. It was clean, light and the service was outstanding. I have never seen waiter service in an airport lounge before and they were excellent. I only wish I had realised this so that I would have had enough cash to give them a decent tip. It supersedes many BA lounges I have visited.”

“I needed to work before my flight. It would be good to have a glass door to the little rooms in order to do teleconference calls in private but otherwise it was a very good place to work before my flight.”

“We use Aspire Lounge in Edinburgh twice a year as a family, it has always been excellent, and we look forward to this being the start of our holiday. We were very disappointed this time, although food was good, and plentiful, we had to wait on cutlery, then knives came out and no forks! Had to wait at least 10mins for a drink ,despite ringing the bell, then there were no glasses!! Tables were not cleared, table beside us was not cleared the whole time we were in! Disappointed.”
