“4 of us (adults) recently visited the lounge at Newcastle airport. It was unusually quiet on this visit. Food was very nice and fresh, drinks were fine and staff very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Overall a pleasant visit”

“I had a 14 hour layover in Johannesburg and spent 8 hours of that in the lounge. The lounge was very nice and the staff friendly and made my long layover bearable.”

“Breakfast very good, Lunch not so good as to much chill, curry, spicy soups. not good for elderly. no light choice Ie, plain sandwiches. and lack of toilets in the lounge. Staff lovely and seating Ect quite good. will book if flight is an early one but until I see a change in menu will not book for later flights as I can only have a drink.”

“Would have liked a better selection of drinks at the bar as there was no fruit cider. Food was cooked brilliantly. Staff so friendly. Was nice to see them clearing tables so quickly as nothing worse as seeing tables full of dirty plates”

“The food and drinks were decent and replenished quickly, however there was not remotely enough seating for the number of people wanting to use the lounge, and this was on a random Saturday in November, which meant it took 20 minutes for me and my partner to Donald anywhere to sit. I can’t say it was worth the price.”

“I rang the Apsire lounges about a visit to the lounge we should have made in August but where late. Our visit was transfer to Oct the service provide is excellent.”

“They worked very hard. Short staffed but extremely obliging and courteous. Couldn’t help noticing they were dealing with customers as well as seeing to food and cleaning up.”
