“Really started our holiday well, comfortable seats, large selection food and drinks, staff were all very pleasant. Will definitely do it every time we fly”

“The lounge was very busy and a section was reserved for a specific airline which made seating sparse. I would have preferred sofas instead of hard chairs and low tables. We were seated directly below the TV which was very loud. The food was average and the juices were not chilled. The servers were polite although one dropped yoghurt on my daughter which upset her as she had to clean her trousers. Overall okay but not worth the money paid.”

“We were very disappointed with the lounge this time. All the cooked breakfast was cold and tasteless. There was no toast which my 81 year old mum wanted. This lounge is definitely not worth the money we paid and Leeds Bradford is far superior”

“Disappointed to arrive to the lounge full even though we had booked. Was eventually seated at a table with 2 other people. Couldn’t eat breakfast as the table was a low one so had to wait at least an hour before a table came available.”

“Booked the Lounge to prevent the usual “Wetherspoons vs Champagne Bar” debate between Himself and me. Glad we did. Seating was plentiful and the room was quiet in comparison to departure lounge mayhem outside. Only suggestion is that the replenishment of glasses, cutlery etc could be more efficient, and the entry process was way too slow. Surely a QR code zap should take just seconds? Would use again, but hope the entry process will be improved.”

“We arrived for an early Morning flight, the food was sitting nice and hot, good selection and happy service no frowns unlike the supposed No 1 Lounge. Great start to our holiday and will definately use again. Cheers”

“The lounge itself was lovely although had a bit of a trek to find it and no signs up at Edin airport except for the original lounges which we went to and then got re-directed to the other endvof the airport. My mum is elderly so this wasnt ideal. We were welcomed when we got in and picked a table. We arrive during breakfast and was quite disappointed with what was on offer. No toast facility which is a bit odd as this is a staple breakfast component?? The drinks on offer where pretty limited, no much choice of bottle lager, no Baileys (which is the only thing my mum drinks) and the wine on offer was pretty yuk!! The were no TV screens and not much to do. Glad I didnt bring the kids. Glad I tried it but don't think I would use this aspire lounge again. Maybe try the No.1 next doir.”

“Oversubscribed, too many people being allowed in without prior booking, no seating available and honestly would have been more comfortable just sitting in the main terminal. Completely different to the Plaza Premium that I usually book. Will not be using the Asire at T5 again.”
