“No champagne despite paying in advance for champagne. 90% of the time there was nobody serving at the bar. Food portions were small and cold. No private bathrooms. All in all, a waste of money.”

“Very friendly staff. Hot breakfast rather limited… bacon rolls and scrambled egg rolls which disappeared fast. Otherwise a calm and pleasant start to my travels.”

“Really disappointed, the lounge was dirty although a lady wandered around with her trolley clearing tables she didn’t use her cleaning equipment when people left there table and pushed all the crumbs on the floor, so consequently the floor was filthy ! The buffet consists of cheese and biscuits nothing else and hot food selection was poor , really disappointing.”

“The staff were brilliant, it was comfy and the food was nice. But T5 lounge needs to be bigger. In a time of social distancing the walkways are very narrow and everyone is crammed in. There is a staircase to a floor above which is blocked off. This would be ideal for more seating.”

“It's been a long time (and several cancelled bookings) since we were in the Aspire Lounge at Newcastle Airport. This was a very welcome visit - covid restrictions enforced, good food options and choice of drinks. Tables cleared regularly. We will be back in 2022!”

“Excellent way to spend the hours before boarding. Lounge was clean and not overcrowded. We had a morning flight and the breakfast menu was being served. Reasonable selection of cooked breakfast items although pastries were not replaced enough. Did not have any alcoholic drinks due to morning flight but coffee from the machine was good.”

“Spacious lounge, not too busy. Friendly staff who were attentive to their guest's needs. Was there for the seamless transition from breakfast to lunch service, good selection of food and drink on offer (Healthy and Non Alcohlic available too!) Worth it to get away from what can be a pretty busy airport terminal at times and put you in the right frame of mind for your flight.”

“The receptionist assumed We hadn’t booked he also spoke so quickly we didn’t understand what he was saying and the app didn’t wok to order any hot food and my wife had assistance and we were told that the lounge would let the assistance know to pick us up to go to the gate and when we asked at the lounge it was a straight no we don’t”

“Booking was taken even though aspire are aware of only two hour before check in at the moment and their is only a two hour a slot so only ended up having 1 hour before we were thrown out by staff turnin lights out… food so poor won’t book again”
