“Really enjoyed our time in the Aspire Lounge at Manchester. The food was nice and plentiful, atmosphere lovely and the lounge is bright and airy with good views over the runway etc. There was just one thing! When my husband went to get me a brandy, the young lady refused to let me have one if I didn't have a mixer in it. I don't drink any kind of soda so had coffee instead. This was a little annoying and embarrassing I must say. It's not as though I had been drinking all the time, it was actually my first drink!!! However, there was no issue with the other bar staff. Hence the 4* rating instead of 5*.”

“Nice area to sit in away from the bedlam of the airport. Would have liked a larger variety of hot meals to choose from. Plenty of tea coffee, soft drinks or alcohol to choose from. Definitely needed to book the slot of time as people were being turned away due to lounge being full.”
