“We have not been since the refurbishment and we do like it. We had a warm welcome and were given a low occupancy table as there was only two of us which was fine. I did know the system but was reminded of how it worked and settled in to some nice hot breakfast with beer & wine. I accidentally knocked over the drinking policy and we joked about that and they pointed out that they could clearly see we were fine so it was nice to see the staff were able to use discretion. A friend joined us later and the lunch food came out so we tried a bit of it and enjoyed that also. We left in time for our flight fully relaxed and refreshed. Thank you”

“We arrived in this lounge on the 23rd of Feb. We booked the lounge to celebrate my birthday and my grandsons 18th birthday. My family had travelled up from Plymouth the previous night and we was looking forward to spending a nice relaxing time with several other members of the party. On arrival we was informed that we couldn’t sit together and we was all split up over the lounge. We was all disgusted as we was looking forward to enjoying a first drink with our grandson. If we would’ve been made aware of this rule there is no way we would’ve booked the Executive Lounge. We won’t ever make the same mistake we should’ve sat together in the airport lounge. The score l gave was to show how upset me and my family was and we will never book the lounge again.”

“Generally good. However, within the lounge it was very difficult to hear the announcements over the public address system. Also, there were no cakes/scones as advertised on your website. There was a small selection of pastries, but these were allowed run out.”

“The phone charging sockets did not work. The toilet facilities were not good for the amount of people. The staff are very miserable and cannot be bothered to raise the smallest of smiles. Why employ staff that clearly do not want to be there.”

“Staff were not very welcoming. A lot of tables were reserved and stayed empty the whole of our stay and we struggled to find a table. There was very little food on offer...2 pasta dishes and salad..I don’t like pasta so there was little else. When a small plate of sweets was put out it disappeared straight away and if you couldn’t see it being put out you got none. We have used Aspire at Manchester Airport and that is far superior. Unlikely to book that one again waste of money.”
