“Check in was smooth and simple. The lounge was quiet, it was 4-30am! The food on offer was ok bacon, sausage, buns. The bar service was very poor, we (And other customers) went into the cheaper lounge next door for drinks twice. This was pointed out to the staff but it didn’t improve. I’m not sure we would pay the extra for the plus lounge again. It was no better than the normal lounge.”

“Total waste of many. Entry time was 4.30am but didn’t open until 4.50 so 20 minutes lost before we started. Only Heineken lager on draught. Soft drinks machine was not working all the time we were there. The rolls on offer were large flat dried out bits of bread from the day before so by the time you managed to work your way through it you couldn’t face any more. Wetherspoons would have been a far better choice. Nicer drinks miles better food (served to your table) and a far better atmosphere. This is the first time I have used the Lounge which was supposed to be a treat for my wife and I but would never ever use it again. The staff were disorganised drinks were not available and stale yesterday's food all in all an unforgettably bad experience.”

“I use the lounge twice a year and always find it clean. The food is great and staff are so friendly and helpful. They are always cleaning up and topping up your drinks. A great way to end my holiday!”

“We were very disappointed With the lunch time food , it was a strange combination & very limited. We usually do breakfast time in the lounge which is much better . I don’t think it was very good value so unless the lunch menu was improving I don’t think we would go back.”

“We arrived (party of six) just as breakfast was finished. There was very little hot food as the lunchtime choices were not ready. Got bye on cheese and biscuits. Limited selection of beers and no cider (three of us drink cider). Not great, for the price.”

“This was our first time in the Executive Lounge due to perfect flight times and would definitely book again. We had a lovely breakfast then a small refreshment in a nice chilling and relaxing atmosphere. The Lounge is spotless, the staff are friendly no complaints from us. As Arnold says “we will be back” 😊”

“We arrived early before our time slot. The lady on the desk was very accommodating and said it wasn't a problem she could fit us in . Thall the staff were very pleasant and it gave the place a nice calming atmosphere. Will definitely come to Newcastle airport again and use the lounge.”

“Possibly the worst lounge experience to date but still better than fighting it out on the main concourse. Seating are limited and crowded with a poor selection of hot and cold foods. The food selection is less than what I expect in entry level budget hotels such as Travelodge and Premier Inn. Alcohol included but not self service as in other lounges and generally just a feeling of being done on the cheap. I wouldn't pay to use this lounge again, instead I would take my chances on the main concourse and buy a breakfast worth eating”

“Lounge was very quiet when we were there on 14 December. Attentive staff, interesting choice of food - very healthy choices which may not appeal to some who are looking for more traditional food. Comfortable ambiance with nice views of the runway. Big improvement having WC facilties within the lounge.”

“Not worth it. Nothing special for the price to be honest. The breakfast choice was underwhelming...I was sorry I didn’t stay outside and get a fine hearty breakfast. Not very comfortable, seating was like a cafe rather than a lounge.”
