“Its the first time we had used a lounge as we usually travel early morning and after reading some reviews I was apprehensive to say the least. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities. We made reservations directly though Swissport (as booking online showed no availability) and were greeted by a friendly face when we arrived. She said to take a seat at any of the tables - three of us sat at a bistro table - it wasn't massively spacious but we hadn't come for a sit down meal. We arrived around 10am and found a good selection of breakfast items there to sample; all food was fresh and hot, in fact they replenished whilst we were there with more fresh, hot food. One of our party tried the pancakes and went back for more they were so nice. The other two had bacon/sausage sandwiches which were very nice). The hot drinks were freely available through a machine (lattes are good!) and the bar was well stocked - all brand named spirits and tap beer. Prosecco/champagne was an extra charge but I had read that online so was prepared to drink gin instead. Our plane was due to leave at 12.30pm so we left around 11.30am and lunch was being brought out - all of which looked great! The environment was nice and relaxed, and more importantly away from the hustle and bustle of the departure lounge. We would book again if not just for the space, never mind the food and drink.”

“We were with friends for a couple of hours in the Executive Lounge which gave us a good opportunity to catch up with each other in a relaxed and peaceful environment. Enjoyed the food available and the drinks.”

“Staff polite and friendly. Hot food only average. Did not look very appealing but tasted ok. Could do with been a good deal hotter. Coffee not great, very weak and little flavour. Plenty of alcholic drink but didn't see any alcohol free beer which was a pity. Lounge spacious and clean.”

“The team were very friendly and helpful. The ambience was relaxed. The food was good and well-stocked. The only downside, was that you have to pay an additional cost for Prosecco. I don't understand this - Prosecco is hardly an expensive commodity, so why do guests have to pay an additional charge?”

“Checking in was painful and took approximately 15 minutes to complete. Others who had arrived after us were checked in before us. Tables were reserved with names on them our name was not amongst these even though we booked weeks in advance. Told to just sit anywhere. Most food items were not labeled and replenishment was slow. Not good value for the money paid.”

“Terrible layout, not enough seats, people where lying across 2 spaces. There was an upstairs area which wasn’t open. Food was nice. Tables kept clean and empty cups etc cleared away quickly.”

“I've been less and less impressed with the Aspire lounges the last few visits but this one really was horrendous. Virtually nothing available just empty plates. No rolls, no pastries, lukewarm cooked food, down to 3 sausages (which did eventually get replaced by the time we left) you're left sitting at a table thinking what on earth did I pay all that money for when I could have got a full meal of my choosing in any of the restaurants downstairs for half the price? Hugely over priced with a very meagre offering of food. I don't think I will be returning anymore. I've also just noticed this review thread all the questions below seem to relate to postal deliveries? They can't even send out a review request and get it right.”
