“Having a lounge to lounge in while waiting for a long haul flight was well worth while. Plenty of food and drink choice.”

“One third of seating unavaiable. Reserved for Quatar funny though ,for the 2 hrs i was in the lounge none of the reserved seats was used. Also no nrwspapers avaiable. Overall poor standard.”

“Travelling on my wife's birthday New year's eve on a 06:35 flight it was always going to be a long day, so booked into lounge for what I hoped would be a relaxing start to our day,and what a good investment it was a quick check-in by receptionist who explained how lounge worked and we soon found ourselves a table for 2 with very comfortable armchairs. Great selection of breakfasts items on display, we settled for the hot scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, baked beans and a roll washed down with coffee delicious, there was also cereal and biscuits also fresh fruit on offer, we then had a bottle of Tiger beer and a gin n tonic to celebrate, couldn't believe how quickly time flew before we were on the next leg of our journey which was only 100 yards to departure gate. Thanks to all the helpful,courtious and friendly staff who made us feel special they are a credit to your firm”

“Though a wide selection of alcoholic beverages I felt the food wasn’t exceptional but mediocre no toaster to toast bread not an exceptional amount of variety I feel the amount we paid and what we actually consumed was not good value for money maybe better if I was drinking more alcohol and it wasn't 5 in the morning maybe would of had more value to me”

“The staff were pleasant and efficient but they were complaining that they were short staffed and rushed off their feet, which to be honest looked tight as there were long waits to be served drinks. Food was ok. Facilities were good. There was one large area cordoned off with reserved signs on. These areas were not used at all during the two hours we were there and seemed to be a way for the staff to Keep the customers in one area and making it easier for cleaning. This was not good practice and if I’d been part of a larger group and couldn’t get seats together I’d have complained.”

“I'm sorry to say I was very dissatisfied. Only 1 gin on offer which was beefeater and all the gains there are that is the only one my partner dosent like. The cold food wasn't replenished enough for the amount of people in there. Compared to Manchester it was very poor.”

“Plug sockets didn't work in console booth. Food is very limited choice. Wasn't over crowded. Guy taking drinks order didn't understand English and got everything i ordered wrong. They don't serve anything sweet at bar. It's dry or medium.”

“A total disgrace .. no food .. under staffed .. appalling.. no plates for the little food that was left .. had to get bags of crisps from behind the bar .. thought it would be a lovely treat and a great start to our holiday .. big mistake .. totally disappointed .. it’s was laughable .. I’ve visited Manchester airports lounges on many occasions and have always been very satisfied.. this was a massive disappointment ..”

“I decided to pay for the lounge at Luton. Firstly it said smart dress there were people in trainers and tracksuits. Secondly I booked to escape the madness... the screaming child running around did not help! The food was ok but the coffee was horrendous. I will never book the aspire lounge ever again!”

“My friends and I were on a long haul flight,Edinburgh to Heathrow then on to Miami. After the looking at the website and reviews we thought it would be a good idea to book a lounge and relax inbetween flights. How disappointed we were. When we checked in the staff were either short staffed or just ran off their feet, they were all running around like headless chickens, then we were told where we were sitting was in a totally different room to the main area. The next issue was the lack of choice of food. According to the website their is a wide selection of food/cereal/bread. We arrived about 10 am and it looked like there was only the dregs left and again the staffed to running around but not actually doing any work. I have used the lounge in Glasgow and it is so much better to be honest it was such a let down and I don’t think any of my party would visit again.”

“I visited the new Aspire lounge at Edinburgh airport in December . It was virtually empty as their other lounge was also open in Edinburgh airport at that time. The new lounge is really smart and overlooks the runway. Positively there are toilets inside the lounge which didn't exist in the new lounge. Staff were really helpful and friendly. I wasn't convinced though about the hot food options to be honest but maybe just my personal choice so stuck to the cold meats and cheese options. Disappointed that there was no draught beer available which there was in the other lounge and felt the wine measures were on the small side. Would consider visiting again though......”
