“There was plenty to eat and drink at the lounge. There was a long queue when we arrived and we joined it but after a few minutes they asked who had pre booked which we had so we went to the front of the queue and then shown to a table.”

“I find the lounge poor and grubby compared to the lounge at Cape Town international. The drinks and food are limited for the cost. For example they supply savoury biscuits but nothing to put on them i.e. cheese!”

“Excellent lounge. Staff are always friendly and welcoming despite the time of day. The food is always tasty and hot. Refreshed frequently so there is always a good selection.”

“Overall the staff were inatentive(poorly trained). Food not of high standard. It is a long walk from anywhere and poorly signed. I could go on but I am sure you get my drift: I was underehelmed!!”

“I personally feel it is very basic. The only thing I wanted after viewing the selection was porridge... which was nice to be fair. I wouldn't book it again as the food options in Pret at nicer/fresher for less. There is absolutely nothing special or unique about the food and I definitely don't like paying £25 for a bowl of porridge and a coffee”

“Visited on 15/02/2020 before a family holiday. Even though we were there between 10am-12pm it wasnt very busy which was a nice surprise. Lovely place to go, the breakfast had good options (I enjoyed using the pancake machine) and we were able to try some lunch items due to the over lap. I would however suggest adding more comfy/squashy chairs for more people to relax in as the few I saw were occupied. The staff were pleasant and ones I spoke to on the day were very helpful.”

“It was ok for a lounge but not on a level of other lounges I have visited. UK standards are not what they are in Middle East or Asia which is a shame because there is a huge market for it. Food was ok but not a lot of choice when. Even comparing to Heathrow lounges but it was a nice way to spend 2 hours away from the crowds. Just more choice, attentive staff would go a long way to making it more customer friendly and pleasant. Manners cost nothing but mean a lot such as greeting on arrival and staff walking round and looking bothered about their role.”

“The executive lounge was definitely not worth the money. The staff on reception were really rude as they looked me up and down disbelieving I had a reservation and tutted when I produced the booking. Guess if I was celebrity or came dressed for a formal engagement rather than a long haul flight I may have had a different welcome. The food selection was pitiful and the bar staff absent so the drink selection was coffee, tea, soft drinks or milk. There were few seats and the only positive was the carrot cake which they only had two slices left of which we shared between the three of us. Thankfully my flight left early so I didn't have to stay long.”
