“Comfortable setting and far from the madding crowd. Good range of drink with soft, alcohol and hot beverages available. Fair selection of salads, biscuits etc but not much by way of hot options and rice/ beef main hot dish at Edinburgh one day and again at Gatwick the day after. Good service by way of tidying up, especially at Edinburgh. One question: why a pint glass in one lounger but half pint at another??”

“When we arrived at the lounge, it was over crowded and couldn’t find anywhere to sit! I thought that there should be enough seating for the No of tickets sold! Also the food that was available was very poor! Very disappointed and not a great start to our holiday.”

“Very busy when we arrived and struggled for seating. The staff were very busy which led to us having to clean our own table to sit down and queues for food and drink. There were little options for gluten free and where we were sat there was no possibility for tech charging”

“I have used the Aspire lounge on a few occasions now and always enjoy the experience. The staff are pleasant and helpful. It is a peaceful way to relax waiting for your flight from the hustle and bustle of the terminal. Have a drink alcoholic/non alcoholic and a bite to eat - what more could you ask for.. I would definitely use the executive lounges again”

“WE ARRIVED AT THE LOUNGE AT 8.30 AM. IT WAS VERY BUSY AND WE HAD TO SQUEEZE ONTO A SMALL TABLE WITH ANOTHER PARTY OF PEOPLE, THERE WAS VERY POOR SELECTION, NO BEANS, TOMATOES, JUST HARD COLD BACON, SAUSAGE AND SCRAMBLED EGG. AT 8.55 I ASKED IF THERE WAS ANY MORE CROISSANTS TO BE TOLD THEY HAD ALL GONE AND WOULDNT BE REPLACED, I WOULD NEVER RECCOMEND THIS LOUNGE TO ANYBODY, EVER. I FEEL STRONGLY THAT WE SHOULD HAVE A REFUND AS THE LOUNGE DID NOT OFFER WHAT IT SAID, WE CERTAINLY WAS NOT COMFORTABLE OR SATISFIED WITH THE FOOD WHICH WE WERE PROVIDED WITH. WE TRAVELLED ON MONDAY 28TH JANUARY FROM TERMINAL 2 AT MANCHESTER AIRPORT. THERE WAAS PLENTY OF ROOM AT ONE END OF THE LOUNGE AND WHE I ASKED IF WE COULD SIT THERE WAS ABRUPTLY TOLD NO, THAT AREA WAS RESERVED FOR SINGAPORE AIRLINES.”

“We booked the aspire lounge in london gatwick north for early morning breakfast.Food excellent .great choice and great choice of fresh juice teaş coffee or alcohol if you desired. We left for our flight ,but ön arrival at the gate we were advised it was delayed 6 hours .We et back to lounge are they were very happy to accomodate us for our delay .excellent service will use again”

“Lounge itself was nice as where the staff but food was very limited - we where booked in from 4.15pm and left the lounge at 6.20pm and the only hot food was rice, assumed there was a cross over if food but nothing more added. But disappointed as have been to aspire lounge in Liverpool John Lennon airport and it was far better”

“All the Executive Lounges were rather hard to find, this was Manchester, and felt to be tucked away at the back of the general Departure Lounge - which, by the way, involved a long IKEA-like trek through Duty Free before you came across anything worthwhile. Of the six Executive Lounges on offer, Aspire was the second worst. Emirates was the best. What was wrong with Aspire ? A thin buffet breakfast (slightly lower than the standard for such things as set by Premier Inn), a "tired" look to the place and shared lavatories that needed cleaning.”

“Well what can I say, brilliant and relaxing way to begin your holiday, we had a morning flight so opted for the lounge as it made sense, great food and selection of drinks available, all included in the price we paid and no scramble for somewhere to sit. Will definately be using for our next holiday and everyone after that too”

“A huge disappointment and certainly not worthy of the premium paid. So looking forward to a civilized wait in the airport lounge but instead found it to be chaotic, overcrowded and was forced to sit ona high stool near the bar for several hours which was far from ideal. Food was dire, drink was free flowing but for people like us who just wanted a relaxed area to enjoy it was no different from sitting in the main airport so feel very cheated in the lack of positive experience and the unnecessary costs incurred.”

“Our holidays usually begin in the Club Aspire Lounge at Gatwick North Terminal. After an early morning cab ride to the airport followed by baggage check, security check and the trail past all the duty free shops it is a welcome relief to arrive in the peaceful setting of the Lounge. There is always an air of calm about the place. With plenty of comfortable seats, free newspapers, a couple of televisions if you want them (and plenty of space to avoid them if you prefer) a good selection of food and drink that is constantly replenished we can relax and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we fly away.”
