“We really appreciated the options available for our shutters and the ease of which we were able to order and pick the options we wanted. The price was a bit of a shock, but the material quality and aesthetics was well worth it. I have no doubt these shutters will still look great decades from now. A couple of criticisms, but nothing major. I'm not sure why the holes were not pre-drilled from the factory. I suppose it is in case the installers need to adjust placement of the mounting screws in case pre-drilled placements would not work for a particular installation. However, it might be a nice option for the company to ask the buyers and drill the holes to their recommended specs if that option would work for them. My concern was that I am not the most gifted when doing these types of carpentry applications. In the end, it turned out fine and somehow I was able to drill the holes in places that looked centered and professional. Another suggestion would be to include one or two extra screws per shutter. There were only the exact amount of screws needed included in the packaging. As I mentioned, I am a novice at these kinds of things and I could see myself easily messing up a screw while drilling it in. Also, in our circumstances, we were mounting these above a lot of thick vegetation. I was fearful of one of the screws being dropped and being difficult or impossible to find. Packaging and delivery was perfect and we received the shutters well within the delivery window they provided. Overall, I would highly recommend Exterior Solutions. The shutters look amazing and much better than the basic vinal shutters that they replaced.”

“Poor quality sample I could never order from it. Beluga portion of the sample was rough and not smooth and I understand the finish goes right on top of that. Change your submission anyone that has any intelligence could never order from the sample I received.”

“The shutters were acceptable. I have no complaints as to their construction or appearance. However the fasteners supplied with them and recommended for use are a joke. Having taken one look at them it was more than apparent that I would have to purchase some screws to do the job.”

“What a difference it makes to the appearance of our home!! We are so happy that we decided to replace our old worn out shutters. Once we ordered them online, they arrived within 2 weeks. It was a very easy process!! We did reuse the old screws instead of the plugs that were provided. I’m sending a picture of the work in progress…. New shutters on the bottom….old one on second floor!”

“I wanted shutters in the color called Cranberry. They were "special order" so my credit card was charged before they shipped. The shutter color was not avaible at that time. After a few weeks I asked for a refund and was given one quickly. I ordered the same size shutters in "paintable". I used the recomended primer and paint. The unpainted shutters plus the paint about equalled the cost of the prepainted. I'm hoping the Sherwin Williams paint will not fade as quickly as what I see on other houses. The one "custome sized" shutter I ordered was not an exact match to the others and seemed to be of lesser quallity. I'm glad I did not spend the extra money to get all of the shutters custom sized. One shutter was slightly damaged (I assume during shipping) but I can work with it. The price seems high for pressed plastic but that is a manufacturing thing not the distributor. They were packed well and shipped UPS ( The driver was not happy). I plan to install them next week. I'm hoping all goes well.”
