“The First Tutors site was very clear and easy to use. There were a number of tutors listed and so we narrowed down to three. Unfortunately only one out of these three responded at all. My daughter has her first session later this week. The site is very straightforward and professional, and I would recommend it to others.”

“The distance the tutor/ tutee has to travel is misleading as the true distance is only given much later on during the browsing; Distance stated by 'As the crow flies' is irrelevant because the mode of travel for all is by road.”

“Website a bit complicated. Not at all clear what the overall procedure entailed. I suggest a flow pattern as an initial screen then an expanation at each stage. I managed to negociate it more or less by luck.”

“I was in need of a Chemistry tutor in my area for my son. A quick google search turned up FirstTutors and presented me with a shortlist of options. I messaged 2 of the tutors who quickly replied and were able to give advice and guidance. I subsequently selected my preferred option and am now directly engaged. Overall a pretty good service and helped my find what I needed.”

“I'm impressed with the efficiency and quality of response time from First Tutors in keeping me posted. The only criticism I would make (and it is a slight one, but nonetheless it irritated), is that I would have preferred a more specific idea of costing relative to my chosen tutor rather than a broad range. It turned out that the fee was at the higher end of the scale.”
