“This website has put me in touch with 6 students over the last 12 months of which 3 have taken a block of lessons. First tutors has provided me with the opportunity to supplement my income, although I don't think there will be sufficient leads to rely solely on this website site to fulfill my requirements. However, The referencing and tutor feedback is excellent and provides clients with the confidence that their chosen tutor is reputable.”

“First tutors is a very reputable site who selects carefully tutors through their qualifications, their references and the feedbacks of previous clients. It allows both parties to talk and set up the ideal conditions for tutoring sessions. It might also support tutors using Skype service as this is more flexible for busy tutors who don't have time to travel between clients and clients who live in very isolated places, securing both enough work for the tutor and its safety.”

“Found a lot of contacts on FT. Very useful is the chance for students to leave positive feedback to encourage future clients. Seems to be quite safe as well. Fairly easy to use though FT Academic is confusing.”

“First Tutors is effective at making me known as a maths tutor. I prefer it to other tutoring agencies because my tutees can post their comments on my profile. My only regret is that during the initial contact with tutees the details they want to give me are not made available to me immediately.”
