“Once you get past the hard sell First Home Improvements turned out to be a good company & my experience with them was a pleasure. Everything went smoothly from signing the contract. The surveyor turned up within the scheduled time & the windows were fitted within the contracted time by Husband & Wife team Tristan & Alison, who kept me updated with the job & arrival times if they were delayed. The after sales service has been exceptional as well. With a follow up call to see how things went & was I satisfied. During the installation 1 of the installers noticed a crack in the glass of 1 of the windows. This was replaced by the service team a couple of months later without any input from me. It was a real pleasurable experience.”

“Installed in two visits doubt over lack of lintels on lounge and kitchen windows but both installations were done fast and cleanly. Increase in temperature without heating was felt instantly. Now ordered the replacement of a dowdy and leaky front door.”

“This is my 3rd and final purchase/installation, I have had minor problems each time. 1st job - Chunks of metal, which flew out from under the lawn mower narrowly missing my dog. 2nd job A door handle mechanism so stiff I struggled to open and lock the door. On the most recent installation on 19th November (3 upstairs windows) one of them was "mismeasured" by the Survayer so was installed without a sill while a new window was made... I chased a week later and it was installed on 29th November. I have no issue with the quality of the Product or standard of installation but I feel the other niggles could and should have been avoided.”

“The work carried out by the men was very good. The senior man of the two had years of experiance and it showed in eveything he did. It was apleasure watching him. They cleaned up very well before asking me if i was satisfied with the window fitting they had carried out. I was very happy.”

“We recently had several windows and a French door installed. The installation was completed by Ben and John and it was quick and efficient, despite the fact they had to deal with awful weather conditions. They were both polite and courteous and cleaned up before they left the property. The windows look good and I have noticed a reduction in the level of noise I can hear from outside our property. The reason I have given 4 stars is the back office felt slightly disorganised . We had our date of installation changed a few weeks before the originally agreed date and the scaffolders which were required arrived on 3 separate occasions to erect it (although the scaffolders themselves were excellent and very polite)”

“Very happy with the company, from first contact to installation and follow up. Everyone was helpful and friendly, timely and professional. They replaced several windows and a door and they’ve made such a huge difference to the house in terms of appearance and also feel. The designs let in so much more light which is a huge benefit in our smaller rooms and I no longer have to dry condensation off the inside of my windows!”
