We sent a food box to a friend who had lost her father. The box was lovely and the friend we sent it too appreciated and enjoyed the contents. However we paid for next working day delivery meaning it would have arrived on a Monday and it didn't arrive until the Wednesday which was the day of his funeral, less than ideal on that front.

Livraison incomplète, une solution a été apporté mais la surprise d'anniversaire a été gâché par l'oubli d'un produit sur notre commande. Déçue mais ceci est de notre faute l'inscription était "anniverseray" au lieu de "happy birthday "

This rating might seem unfair as the issue really belonged to their supplier. Planet Doughnut. Product sent to billing address and not delivery address despite my contacting to inform it was incorrect on the order form. You did try to sort but it seems your supplier stating they weren’t informed. I could see from your email that you did inform your supplier. It took many emails to sort. All that was needed from your supplier (Planet doughnut) was to simply apologise and just send out a replacement instead of trying to pass the buck. The consequences are I probably won’t use again.

Delivered on time packed OK but not cold packed as such. OK as we put it straight into the fridge..

Was very excited when I was sent the website, there is a really good selection of gifts on there and delivery was really quick. However a little disappointed that the G&T box I ordered, it contained a couple of duplicate gins rather than the 4 different gins that I was expecting. I appreciate they have to substitute items on occasion but with the number of gins that exist in the market now I find it hard to believe they couldn't find a 4th one to include.

Unfortunately the wrong product was sent. The supplier then agreed to dispatch the correct order, this also failed as the replacement was a smaller version of the original product. Time ran out, but The Original Cake company (Craig) held is hands up and refunded part of the cost. Not great but partly resolved by the supplier. What arrive was great quality but logistics failed the product.

Nice product at a good price but the delivery was not as promised. The "Next Day" delivery was in fact 3 days later despite placing my order in the morning.

I took advantage of a combined postage offer but normally you have to spend £50 with each seller to get free delivery. Some of the sellers only sell a few items so it's often impractical. My three sellers combined were very different in their speed and efficiency and one took over a week. Not Boroughbox's fault but there is little detail about delivery speeds and the whole combined sales idea seems imperfect and poorly thought through. For this reason it's unlikely I would buy again

The product itself was great, looked really cute & tasted great. The delivery was a bit of a downfall though. It wasn’t delivered on the correct day & when it was delivered it was only one item out of about eight things. The rest of the package did come the next day, however I purchased the box as a bday surprise so the first delivery of just a can of olives kind of ruined the surprise.

I was really excited to receive this as a gift from my work leadership as part of a team building activity. I selected it based on the contents shown on the website. I was very disappointed with what arrived. I chose the afternoon tea selection which had a lovely variety of items in it… i chose it for the snacks. However, sadly what arrived included 3 boxes of the same biscuits and some ale flavoured popcorn. It felt like they had run out of stock and just chucked in whatever they had left. If I had paid £29.99 for it, I would have been very disappointed. Delivery was super fast and it was well packaged. I think the idea is great. But the execution was a huge let down.

We've made a lot of progress over the past 12 months but clearly still have work to do! The product was good, but it's a shame Boroughbox use Yodel who always seem to have rubbish service. Recieved an update from them that the gift was out for delivery, then it went back to the depot, next day no update so contacted the driver who said it wouldn't be delivered that day and when it finally was the following day they left the gift on the recipient's bin and didn't bother to walk down the stairs to the front door - someone was in all day! Did contact Boroughbox who told me Yodel used to have a bad reputation but are better now hmm..

The sausage selection pack was of good quality but we were very disappointed that our gift message was not included by in the box do the recipient had no idea where they had come from!!

Bought 3 items and paid additional costs for next day delivery. Only one item showed up and the rest followed 3 days later. Disapointed as this was a birthday gift to my son.

The hamper was a disappointment. The beer was good but the other food sources were a bit strange and didnt seem to be in keeping with the cost of the hamper.
