“Ordered 5 separate items, all supplied by BoroughBox themselves....12 days later - nothing has arrived. When looking at contacting support, I found that their Phone Lines and Social media (for support) have been stopped so they cant offer support - this should have been my first warning that they are receiving so many support complaints they cant keep up. Once you email them, you wait a few days for a reply to email and then the support team are extremely quick to blame the postal couriers, but if you read their Twitter or review sites (TrustPilot and here) they blame Royal Mail, Yodel and Hermes....so that doesnt seem right. I gave them plenty of opportunities to do something to fix the issue, even waiting extra time as they said it should update "in a day or so" - was offered a refund of the postage for the late delivery, but it was never actually given (or maybe its just late due to the couriers?). They are unable to blame the 3rd party sellers, all items are from themselves but they dont seem to be able to get things out the door. Now to do battle and try and get my money back - I fear this could be just as bad. Please please please, do your homework before you order from these guys. Just read some of the review first - that was my mistake and one I wont be making in the future!”

“I ordered two items from Borough Box, one arrived no problem but I am till waiting on the other over two weeks later. I received a shipping notification but it never updated further and the item still hasn't arrived. I have contacted the BoroughBox team to try and resolve this but have heard nothing back. It was supposed to be a birthday gift for my brother but sadly I have now missed his birthday completely.”

“The box itself was great! Nice snacks and drinks. But they use Yodel as a courier who are terrible compared to other suppliers. To their defence, most of the boxes came on time as requested but I had to order 11 difference boxes separately in individual orders going to different places. Yodel's tracking system is useless as I couldn't track which boxes were going where so didn't know which one had issues in the end. Who doesn't give the delivery address on the tracking page.”

“Very pleased with the packaging the product itself and the good service from BoroughBox. A perfect gift. I highly recommend perfect for a gin lover. My glass was broken but on contacting the company I was offered a replacement.”

“My order hasnt been shipped after 11 days of ordering. Estimated delivery time should have been mentioned during ordering, otherwise i wouldnt order. Customer service team nicely responded my query and checked the status however since it s in logistics company, they couldnt do anything.”

“The courier, Yodel, are terrible. I have not yet received the BoroughBox parcel and am still in dispute with them. Wouldn’t use BoroughBox again for that reason alone. It has been a lot of hassle to chase up and I still haven’t received the parcel. Not a satisfied customer at all.”

“I was very pleased with the communication from the company and prompt delivery. The snack hamper I chose is great, just what I was looking for. It was bought for a Christmas present and I’m sure the recipient will be equally pleased.”

“The only reason I haven't given this a 5 star is that it was a gift for Xmas and I will not be there when it is opened so cannot vouch for the quality of the ingredients, but in all other respects, ease of ordering and delivery have been very professional.”

“My order was dispatched and arrived quickly and was packaged well. However 2 of the items I purchased - spice kits - while being marketed for totally different occasions - a bbq one and a curry night one - on arrival turned out to be exactly the same so completely unsuitable to give to the same person which was my intention. I have since been trying to contact Borough Box to discuss options but am unable to get through by phone and my emails are not being answered, hence the low score. I realise I probably should have read the description better and also the kits aren't made by Borough Box but feel the descriptions are misleading.”
