“I ordered 2 gift boxes but only 1 arrived. After emailing the customer service centre I finally received a response after about a week apologising for the error with an offer to send out the 2nd box. I agreed on the assumption the 2nd box would arrive before Christmas as it was purchased as a gift. Sadly, it has not arrived and I am just off to brave the busy high streets to buy a replacement present. Not a good experience!!!”

“Bought as a gift - the recipient was extremely happy and started eating the contents straight away! It looked very well presented from the photos and I would certainly by again as a gift. Great website and communication - a real winner!”

“I ordered a cheese hamper for my in-laws recently as an early Christmas gift, it’s was presented really nicely and there was so much food in there, all full sized products and the quality has been really good! They were very happy with the gift, it will definitely last a while! Delivery was also very fast and easy, will be ordering again.”

“I bought vegan the borough box for my husband. I was very disappointed when reading one of the ingredients of one of the gifts that it contained milk. I would have expected that anything marketed as vegan would all be vegan. I also think it is very expensive for what you actually get. I won’t be buying it again”

“Products are very over-priced. Delivery was a complete shambles with a complete failure to deliver my order. After chasing they did work hard to rectify and source a replacement. Customer service after complaining gets them an additional two stars, but very disappointed otherwise.”

“Quality of the food was generally ok but the management of the delivery process, covid-notwithstanding, and related communication was very poor. We ordered 100+ hampers for a corporate event and many did not arrive for the event with no prior communication. The issue was not with the courier as the hampers were not handed over to the courier for delivery. I can't imagine we would take the risk and order with BoroughBox in the future.”

“I think the picture of the product was misleading and also made me think i was getting more for my money than i did. Also postage took forever. It arrived a day too late so my niece's housemate posted it first class to her and it got there next day so what happened there? The idea is good but not sure expectations are being managed well.”
