“Order #600994065 Lavander I should have checked Trustpilot and all rviws sites before I bough from this Appalling company. I also wish I could give this company 0 (zero) stars! I bought 10 Lavander plants FOR £40.00 and apart from 3 they are all dead. Trying to contact this company is a mission impossible as they make it virtually impossible for customers to contact them. They have a useless text message system on the website that is an absolute Joke. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FOR THIS SHODDY COMAPNY I sent an email 2 days ago and also sent a message on THEIR USELESS a messaging system with the following and no reply. “My order Your m arrived some days ago and despite being tightly packaged, the Lavander plants were looking very sad and dry, not much green or growth in them. I planted them immediately hoping that nature would do its magic. Unfortunately, apart from 3 plants, the remaining 7 are all dead!”

“You delayed delivery but still wouldn't allow cancellation, told to refuse delivery, when it eventually happens. Emails take days to get a reply, if you get a reply at all. Plants dispatched eventually on a Friday for next working day delivery, meaning the delicate plants spent the weekend boxed up in a Courier Depot. That isn't conducive to delivering fresh healthy plants. All in all a dreadful experience and we are still waiting for the refund!”

“Plant arrived dead and broken, sent back at our own expense, sent 14 emails over 6 months no refund , total con merchants , I wish I would have read other reviews before I gave them my money, I am a pensioner and I know Chris bonnet is laughing and smiling when pocketing peoples hard earned money, total scam total con merchants just hope KARMA catches up on him .”

“I bought 4 different plants from this company and the standard of plants they sent me were not fit for purpose. Three of the plants received were half dead with the leaves being brown which eventually fell off, one plant had no branches leaves or fresh growth it looked dead because it had been pruned back so much. It is a nightmare trying to contact the company when they do eventually reply they come up with a loads of excuses and fob you off. The website is totally misleading with the photographs they use not a true representation of what you receive even Alan Titchmarch would struggle have trouble to bring them to life! I am totally disgusted that this company are continually allowed to get away this appalling service. I like others will try for a refund via my credit card company DONT USE THIS COMPANY AT ANY COSTS YOU'LL ONLY BE DISAPPOINTED”

“Avoid this company. Bought a standard lilac for £59.99 which should have been in flower. Received a (sub-)standard lilac, with no flowers and hardly any branches. The branches it did have were broken and dead leaves. Company doesn't reply. So many other reviews are the same, you don't get what's been advertised. An urgent review is needed of this company. They need to be held to account. Don't give up until they are. I certainly won't and am contacting credit card for chargeback.”

“Don't waist your time when the plants turned up they were half dead. 2 days later they were dead. I contacted garden express. On a number of occasions raising a support tag on there website over and over again I even emailed them on a number of occasions I even did live chat with them they never got back and have kept my money and have not even replaced the plants which they promised on there 5 year guarantee they state on there web site. Its a money scam they have going so don't waste your time I had saved for the plants I wanted and they have scammed me out of my money”

“AVOID! Ordered Cordyline Pink Passion 2nd May (@ £66 for my wife`s birthday). Ad suggested it was in stock so expected it to arrive within a week. Date kept going out and very difficult to get hold of anyone as it`s all online. When I did and asked for a refund they kept fobbing me off with the excuse that `too nlate, order is being processed so we cannot issue refund`. Eventually, after 29 days, they changed their tune and refund. Still took another week though.. Bottom line - BE VERY WARY, THEY JUST SIT ON YOUR MONEY FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE!”

“I paid £45 including postage for a laburnum tree, when it arrived early April, it had 4 twigs on it and no leaf or flower. I contacted them and was told that due to the cold Spring, it needed more time, 6 weeks later and there is no sign of life at all. I did the bark rest and most of the plant is dead. I emailed photos etc, they said because the bottom bark looked green it was still alive so therefore I am not entitled to a refund. The are rip off merchants, avoid at all costs. Poor products, non existent Customer Service. The first photo is the plant they sent me. The second photo is a replacement I bought at a local centre, which is the same size, and it was £10 cheaper, lesson learned.”

“Ordered a shrub (viburnum plicatum tomentosum mariesii) which was shown on their website. The wrong one arrived. They sent a viburnum but not the mariesii plicatutm. The one I wanted had a single-lobed leaf - the one they sent had a three lobed leaf. I got on the webchat and sent photos. Eight times I explained that I had the wrong plant. Eight times I was told to wait four weeks and then it would look like the one on the website. I then asked them to explain how the leaf shape on a plant could change. Eventually I was given a refund. It took an hour of arguing to get that result. Ridiculous.”

“Rubbish plants and rubbish service. Roses had no root ball, just a stick in a 5l pot. One was almost dead. I had bought them as a present but would have been embarrassed giving them.I wasted £75. No telephone number, mail box full. They had sent me an e-mail saying my plants would be late, 3 weeks instead of 3-5 days which was on their website at the time of ordering. I used this to send my complaint and photos but a month later still no reply. From all the reviews I read I do not understand how this company is still operating. Spread the word and let’s close them down.”

“Same as other bad reviews here. Bought larger acers to avoid waiting for them to grow.Sent frost damaged poor plants. Raised tickets unanswered ,robot chat,personal chat for two days doing their scratch the stem test ,I snapped it to show them it was dry and dead ,eventually told send it back at my cost[how can I send large plants plus the cost].and keep and try and claim back with their 5 yr guarantee.Company set up to rob you and they kick the can down the road until you give up. Not me,trading standards and credit card company and solicitor if neccesary .worst company ever dealt with.”

“ordered 6 to 7ft Honeysuckle - got 3ft. £120 charged instead of £50!! tried to complain - no phone - no email - just a "Ticket number" form. 9 days = no reply. online chat = 1 hour wait and then cut off. Facebook message = twice and no reply. sending them back but it has cost £29. if we do not get a refund in 14 days then it is chargeback time on the credit card. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL”

“I have used them a lot in the past but they are now selling poor quality plants that they present on their website as one thing but you get nothing like it. Trading standards should step in. Raised a complaint and heard nothing.”
