This company is shocking. Ordered plants on 14th April, still not seen anything and no one to speak to or contact. Really bad. Please don't use.

This is terrible. I ordered early April with a 3-5 day delivery then tried to cancel as it did not come but could not contact them. I reported to trading standards. Then tree came on 1 June (despite my attempts to cancel) covered in yellow mould. I am £120 down and cannot contact them.

My plant finally arrived last week after a very long wait and I've been trying to contact gardening express ever since. The plant was mainly twigs and what leaves there are they are wilted and brown. I am disgusted that I’ve been sold this for £105.95. I want a refund and the plant collected. Not happy at all!!

Giving them a 1* rating is over generous - 8 weeks and still chasing around after them. Avoid, avoid, avoid - They can’t even keep to their own delivery/ quality and timescales - these are their own self imposed standards - impossible to contact - buying plants should not be this hard

The quality and service of this company is terrible. Customer service makes it hard to complain. They take your money and then it takes ages to get any order. When mine arrives it was awful.

Ordered 4 plants on 30 April. Received them late on 3June!! Two of them looked green and as I would expect and the other two looked dead. Went on Thier site to contact them and could not find any details . No Tel numbers. Email address . Web site says it's possible to email the founders office but they don't actually advertise an email address? Thier site says they have a chat page but it's again not shown easily anywhere . It's like they don't want you to contact them when something goes wrong ?? Went on a few sites and noticed a number of v bad ratings for plants received in poor cond or damaged etc . People have even reported they guys to trading STDs !! My advise is to shop elswere or gotoa garden centre . They even advertise plants they haven't got in stock which is most of the ones on Thier site ?

Gardening Express has not made me happy, I have already scored them 1 given that I ordered on 19th April last as a birthday present for 10th May and on my last review the item had not been sent. However today 3rd June the order has finally arrived. A Magnolia Stellata which I expected to be DOA. How it has managed to survive I don't know, given that Hermes have had it since 27th May and it has finally arrived although a bit battered ( it looked as if it had been upside down at some point) today 3rd June. However although |I have raised their score to 3 given the condition of the plant and the Covid-19 problems, they really need to sort out their customer relations and communicate with people and answer their e-mails etc. All I can say is thank goodness our local garden centres have re-opened!

I can't give less than 1 star or I would. 11/04/20 I know it has been difficult with COVID -19 but their customer support is the worst I have ever seen they have not replied to more than 2 email I must have sent at least 6 (tickets) on 1 of those they got my name wrong, now I'm told by delivery copmany that the pracel cannot be deliverd & I can't get any further than Hermes telling me to contacting them which I did today standard reply saying they are processing the order, that is not the issues so I suggest they don't read the complaints, if & when I get these plants they are likeley to be dead as I don't know how long they will have sat in a van for. I'm going to have to take court action to get a refund by the look of it.

This is a scam company. Ordered my plants on 4th April and I have still not received them. I have raised various ‘tickets’ asking for an update and received no reply. Does anyone know their address? I intend to visit and personally speak to them. PLEASE STAY AWAY!!

Apart from waiting nearly 8 weeks for my order during coronavirus times. The company took my money immediately including the delivery charge which was a joke. When the plant arrived I almost needed a microscope to see the plant. It came in the advertised size pot but would have fitted into one a third of the size. They blamed the virus and said they were working night and day. They must have made a bomb. Complete joke. Avoid Avoid Avoid.

I wish I’d seen these reviews before placing an order with Gardening Express. I’ve waited 7 weeks for my order which still hasn’t arrived and it’s almost impossible to contact this company. When they do eventually get back to you it’s with a standard email that wasn't even relevant to my issue and they couldn’t offer any assurance that they would deliver my order. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DON’T BE FALLED BY THE SOB STORIES OF BEING ‘A HARD WORKING FAMILY WHO ARE STRUGGLING THROUGH THE CRISIS’. They simply take your money and don’t deliver or communicate and I now know others that have experienced the same problems as me.

I've order few plants at mid Apr 2020 and now at beginning of Jun 2020 still don't have them. I've asked for my money to be refunded and their reply was to send me again my invoice and the that my order is still in process. They've withdrawn my money few hours later I press the order. The company doesn't have a telephone number to call and they answer to emails days many after. Terrible company and they way they run the business - wish I had read other reviews before using them.

Ordered on the 17th of april and still waiting for them nearly two months it's not acceptable. Agree you expect to be delays with what's going on but theres been no contact apart from automated emails to please be patient during these times .my money went out of my account the day after ordering .I will not be using this so called company again even if my plants ever do turn up stay well clear

This company should not be allowed to trade. Unfortunately I seem to be one of the growing army of people who have been conned by them. Same old story, my money taken immediately from bank account after placing my order. Thankfully I ordered just 12 tomato plants of 2 different varieties. Four weeks later I received just 6 of them Tiny, and in very poor condition. No invoice, and no description of which variety they were. Unable to get a reply from them. Luckily I lost just £23. Have huge sympathy for the people who have been conned out of a lot more money than me. How are this bogus company allowed to exist?

ordered on 12/4. 1 email stating the order could be delayed for up to 15 days which was fine 30 days tried to call no number available so raised a support ticket on 18 / 5 still nothing 3/6 . Have now progressed this and will be taking action . AVOID

THIS COMPANY THIEVES PEOPLES HARD EARNED MONEY VERY QUICK TO TAKE MONEY YET 8 WEEKS ON NOTHING !I spent quite a bit of money here 8 weeks on nothing I have e mailed them no one responds the only response I got was pathetic generic one telling me about their problems when I said I’m reporting them and still after that nothing . I have reported them as do think this is a scam

Absolutely disgusting that a company can take your money (£170) in April and still no flowers in June!! Not able to contact them, no reply to various ‘raised tickets’ just generic replies to be patient!! Will be talking to Trading Standards about this totally awful company - criminal!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Plants arrived weeks Late and DOA. The company make it nearly impossible to contact them.mwant my money back.mi am going to contact trading standards and go after this company in a big way
