ordered Jasmine climber. video pictures showed a bushy established plant . when it arrived looked nothing like the size in the pictures. £59.99 will not be ordering from gardening express again. !!

Wish I had also read the reviews first. I have spent £60 on a plant and still waiting for it. Looked at there face page and saw that alot of comments had been removed and only a couple of positive comments about how beautiful the plants looked. I made a comment asking why are there so many comments missing and wish I had read the online reviews first as not good and they have removed my comment. Once they remove your negative comment you are unable to leave any more comments as they restrict you!! That says it all really.

Still waiting for the order of plants , the tracking number provided does not work? Cannot get any response from the Company apart from planted sent? Who can we contact?

Placed order for plants which were in season. Said 3/5 days delivery. 3 weeks later plants arrived alive but looked nothing like pictures on website just twigs Contacted garden express who said they would bloom when in season & if not I could return them but had to pay for postage. Idea was to pay more & get plants already in bloom to make garden look nice not like plant graveyard. Total rip off & wouldn’t recommend or use again 😡

I'm giving two stars rather than one as I did eventually get a refund as the terms when ordered were 3-5 days then after I paid they changed it to 4 weeks and it actually took 7 but I refused the plants by then as I;d bought elsewhere. Had a fight for a refund, and was pretty much ignored on their ticket system and phones and chat are switched off so you can't communicate with them, but I kept fighting, got the bank involved, and today I got £97 back plus £6 interest. Not sure if it was GE or the bank who refunded, but I have got it back so I got there in the end. So you may get lucky, some people seem to get good plants, but if you don't it's the customer services that lets them down i.e. it's next to non existent.

Well to be honest I have slagged off this company - but they have finally given me a fully refund (5 months on from the arrival of the dead plants) - 100 emails sent So they have come good at the end but I won't use them again

I have ordered two plants at different times. The second plant, a tri-coloured buddleia is fine but the bare-root tulip magnolia was dead onarrival and despite me planting and waiting 6 was, no growth or signs of life. I sent pictures as requested but have never received an apology or a refund despite several requests. The tickets just keep being closed without a satisfactory conclusion.

I don't feel quite as negative as others about Gardening Express as the plants they have sent me have been received packaged well and in good condition, better than many at garden centres during Covid 19, and have flourished but...... They sent me a wrong plant, I wasn't prepared to go to the trouble of returning what they sent me under the present circumstances so I kept it but it was cheaper than the one I'd ordered. I then tried to check my orders in my account and couldn't access it, it wasn't accepting my password. I've tried to change my password dozens of times but never receive an email from them to allow me to do so. They send me charming responses to my queries apologising and telling me how to try and sort it out but I've given up and will cancel my contact with them. This company is missing a trick, like the curate's egg it's good in parts but not good enough for me to stay with them. What a pity.

Box plants arrived quickly and look ok. One has a few yellowing leaves though and is in a badly broken pot. Soil has spilled out and this will make it difficult to both re-cycle the Box and to take the Plant into the garden for re-potting. A bit disappointed

I ordered a Blackberry Nip rose bush. My plant arrived in a very damaged box. One branch was hanging off and had to be removed leaving quite a sparse plant. Some leaves were dead and others quite wilted. No tag in the plant pot to say what the rosebush is - no buds so can't say. The pot was wrapped in a plastic bag which had been sellotaped onto a part of the plant. I waited 5 weeks for this delivery and I wish I had never ordered it now.

3 times we have contacted gardening express about a diseased acer and heard nothing, now another acer does not look healthy, we have informed them so donot know how long that will take to get sorted' They were quick to take my £93 for 4 plants, delivery was about 6 weeks but that was to be expected.

I placed my order with payment on the 16th April , I then heard nothing so looked online to see the dreadful reviews really felt I had been duped.! Tried to find someway of contacting them and in the end found out who was the owner and sent him an email. I soon got a response to say 'they were doing their best and my order should be despatched soon' on July 4th I received my order. The plants were fine, I also bought from another gardening website and had a similar experience, but they were better at communication through these difficult times.

I am offering up 2 stars to gardening express. The plants were lovely this 2 star rating reflects on the length of time I waited to eventually get the plants and the shocking customer service provided. I want people to know if you order from this company you will be filled with doubt as to whether the plants you have paid your hard earned cash for will ever arrive. I would also like to address the customer service, there isn't any you will get a massive amount of generated emails/messages back and never an actual human to deal with your concerns. Please please and I can't stress this enough be aware of this company it appears they are deleting unwanted comments on their Facebook page and by the looks of it trying to get their ratings up on here.

I ordered a Magnolia on 8th April and the money was taken from my Account the following day. 'Lockdown' made communication impossible, the website asking that emails not be sent and the Phone not being answered. On Friday 15th May I finally received a Despatch note and the Plant arrived on the following Monday afternoon. Within 20 minutes I had photographed it and sent an email to the Company. 'The Plant appears to have a disease on some of its leaves: one at the very top has dried out and died, another near the top is going the same way, others are beginning to go brown.' Three days later and I am still waiting for any sort of acknowledgement. This Plant has some sort of blight which must have been seen by the Packer before despatch. I am disappointed with the Plant, but the lack of Customer care also concerns me.

Ordered two plants 19 days later they arrived nothing like the picture and one was on the death row. You can't get in touch, they say they are busy. Have sent a email to complain but I don't expect an answer. Will never buy again from them thank god the proper garden centres are open now.

I don’t want to leave a review, but a comment .... like everyone else on here,I am awaiting delivery of my £100+ order, and note all the comments - however, I suggest you all take a look at the company’s Facebook page, where frequent updates are being given. Today’s update states that they are currently despatching orders from8th/9th April. My order was placed 16th April, so I won’t post a negative review yet, as I believe the FB updates are genuine. Hope you all enjoy your plants when you receive them

Like all the other reviewers I ordered £40 of plants a month ago and they have not been delivered. I have tried to contact the company on three occasions but no reply, no telephone line and absolutely no customer service! I paid by debit card so probably no cover from my bank. Am reporting to Trading Standards tomorrow.

Ordered 2 small shrubs. When they arrived one was ok but the other was virtually dead on arrival. Emailed them for a credit note and got a shirty reply about lack of staff. Will not buy from them again. Gardeners beware.

Bought 28 days ago spent £140 as I couldn't purchase anywhere else ,looked like a good site but didn't check as I was so desperate to fill my garden . Iv emailed constantly had 1 reply 2 weeks ago saying plants where on way still haven't had any totally discusted and upset wish I had read reviews first don't know how I will get money back
