*Absolute trash* STAY AWAY!! I have open claims for almost 3 months with this insurer. They haven't even looked into the claim, but the status page says "We will contact you within the next 5 working days." for last 3 months. I have had NO call, email or any contact from them. I have tried to call their so called "helpline" numerous times and waited listening to "how advisors are helping other callers" for over 2 hours at times, but never had a response. Shockingly bad, as if the company doesnt even exist! But I have paid insurance premium though my bank for years!

I was with them because of their good name, although hardly the cheapest. I had made a claim (after 15 years) and following that they refused to renew my insurance. It was the only thing that had changed in my circumstances in the year, and were the only insurer that would not quote me. They also refused to give me a reason. So happy to take your money, till they have to do their part. Fair weather friends indeed

I paid 4000 aed for health insurance for one year. I tried to use the insurance twice when I went to a doctor for check ups and both times they rejected the requests from the doctor for reasons that don't make sense. Never again, won't renew.

My brother has been waiting 7 months after his car got hit on a roundabout by a bus. He suffered injuries and also his mental health has suffered from this accident as he is reminded of it every day as he has to ring this company every other day and no one will take the time to talk to him and help him. His car has been sent to 3 garages and still can’t be fixed. The company had spoken to him terrible on the phone really rude. He just wants his car back or money to get a new one. His car was like brand new before the accident and every time they give it back they can’t get it back to the value it was before the crash. It will take him to actually get a solicitor to sort it as they won’t help in anyway! Absolutely disgusting don’t insure with this company.

They are not of help at all. If you have a problem they just find a way to make it sound like it was your fault so they can run from their obligation from you. I missed my flight for a serious reason and I already checked in for that flight. When I missed my flight, I have to book a hotel at 12midnight and spent a lot of money on that including my food. But all they tell me is that missed flight insurance is just for accidents or illness. So they want me to be on accident first and be ill first? But if I had those accidents and illnesses, they will require A LOT of requirements and proof before they refund or give help. There are more serious reasons aside from that so the fact that we missed our flight and paid for this fuc**** insurance, then they should at least give a help. But zero help. Zero concern. I should give a zero rating for this. I will not recommend this insurance to my family and friends anymore So disappointed. Instead, I will recommend this as bad insurance to go. Karma will go your way AXA and your company will be bankrupted because you are theft to the people! Remember this.

It is the worst insurance company I ever dealt with. We bought an insurance plan, but unfortunately our vacation was cancelled, because of our outgoing flights being cancelled by airlines. Axa denied our claim stating we were unable to go on your trip due to travel restrictions for unvaccinated travelers. That is not the main reason why we didn’t go. MAIN reason was because our flight TO Brazil was cancelled meaning we could not go and hence would not be able to make our flight back for which we made a claim. That should be covered under trip interruption, but axa is not helpful and we are $3k out of pocket having useless insurance! DO NOT BUY you are throwing money away, again do not buy anything from them!

Shocking lies, deceit, manipulation, and theft I once had a great deal of respect for AXA but not anymore, ripped me off for the first and last time, buyer beware, if you have let them steal your money using the auto renewal you will be totally unware of it, they will not inform you or send you any documents, and if you do catch them out you'll end up with half the premium they stole from you back, customer service liars, tried to manipulate me but caught them out told me they couldn't contact my previous insurer gave a form but it's industry standard, when my old insurer said they don't do it like i was pawed off like go away, i badgered them and then they asked for peermission to contact my old insurer with out the form, so they lied on purpose, they said that they could accept the last three policies from them as proof and implied that i could manipulate them before i sent them over like a common criminal, although i sent them forwarded the original emails direct that i had from my old insurance company and it wasn't enough, so they stole my money without me knowing or being notified until the year was up for renewal, and then tried to get rid of me with nothing and then have now gave me £38 back which i haven't yet recieved totally immoral, crooked, decitful. this review will no doubt get burried under fake reviews it's how they silence the truth of the they do to customers, good luck, but remember not allow auto renew,OR you get screwed and what would be the point when you can get a decent and cheaper quote on compare the market.. Yes, you ripped me off instead of doing the decent thing, you also messed about with the refund, i was rold by one guy i would get my full refund and then onlt got half of it, i have these conversation recorded to my phone, YOU AUTO RENEWED MY INSURANCE AND SENT NO DOCUMENTS SO I WAS TOTALLY UNAWARE, I ONLY FOUND AT AT THE RENEWAL STAGE, TRICKSTERS CON MEN PARASITES.

Rang to get a quote, because I spend 4 days in Belfast for University they refused to put down my parents address in country as my main address, which is on all my documentation and correspondence . As a student the address I share in a house with 4 others is temporary and I am only there from Monday to Thursday. Pity she just lost 3 more potential customers I know who were interested in getting a quote. Her attitude needs to change.

If I could give less than one star I would - impossible to get in touch with them, they approve claims and then refuse to pay the invoices even though they've already given you an authorisation code before, the worst insurance ever

Don't have an accident if your insured with axa they blame you without getting any witness statements or police reports then you have to do all the work yourself to prove you weren't at fault. They are no help whatsoever all they want is to take your money and do nothing for it absolute joke of a company! Avoid at all costs

Worst service ever! If I could give 0 stars I would. Their client crashed into my 7 series last week. They contacted us directly, instead of going through to our insurance company, provided us with a letter quoting they can provide a hire car for a lot cheaper, so we're stuck with them or be liable to pay for more as they may dispute that we rejected a lower offer for their hire car! We called back and was promised a car similar to ours would be ready the saturday. To then mess us around since Wednesday to now (monday evening) to give us a lower class car. Taking me out of a 7 series to put me in an SUV! How do you compare a luxury car (granted its a 52 plate, still a luxury car) to put me in a lexus SUV! So much for putting me in a similar car to what your client crashed into! Courtesy car was provided which I had to make arrangements to pick up or end up lasting another day without a car! Worst service ever and not once have they asked whether we were okay or not after the accident, instead they are more interested in themselves saving money rather than putting the person which their client crashed into, back into a similar vehicle 5 days later!

Extremely poor service . Inaccurate information when they sell their products ,then they ask for more money . Reject even basic doctors' requests . Reasons vary - as " there is no diagnosis, thats why we cant check on you" when you have complains snd you want to be checked before being diagnosed. And more ,and more . Never again going for this insurance company !!!

Hit an animal on a country road aat 222:00, informed AXA the next day, 3 days later a company called Copart picked the car up to then hold it in a yard for 7 days. AXA said I couldn't have a courtesy car unless it was deemed repairable by Copart. After several phone calls and in answered emails, Copart eventually said it was deemed repairable, AXA then informed I still couldn't have a courtesy car until it was picked up by the garage that was going to do the repairs. Was phoned the next day by fix auto network to arrange the collection and repair of my car, told the garage that would fix my car would be in touch. 2 days later, car still in yard as AXA hadn't given COPART permission to release car. It has now been 2 weeks since my accident, still no car, still no courtesy car, and garage believes they will get my car tomorrow, but has no idea when car will be fixed as it will depend on IF they can get parts. It's a Mazda 3 not a limited edition Bugatti. Avoid AXA at all costs, they completely do not care about customer service.

If I could give less than a star I would. I had my accident over a week ago, noone has been to collect my car or even requested pictures of the damage. I was hit in the back by a hit and run and AXA have BLAMED ME? Saying I’m fault when it was a hit and run and they simply can’t get the registration of the other driver so they blame me. Tragic, unprofessional, do NOT reply to emails, I had one phone call to explain the incidents and they immediately sent a letter stating I was at fault although they hadn’t even investigated. POOR

I have been a customer for close to 10 years, Axa cancelled my policy without informing me, I renewed via phone call on 28/5 where I paid the deposit & first month upfront, at this time I informed the CS rep to change my account direct debit over as I had closed the original. I was told this had been done.. I thought no more about it. My car broke down on 19/10, when I rang to enquire about breakdown service I was told my account had been cancelled but could not be told why? Resulting in my car being towed/ compounded which I then had to pay €120 towe charge myself to get my car back. I contacted Axa to try and resovle this who informed me the policy could not be re-instated and I would need to start a new policy and pay the deposit etc AGAIN! Still nobody can actually tell me why the account was cancelled I am assuming the DD was never changed over, there is a phone record of the conversation on their database should they wish to check facts. I received 0 txts, 0 calls, 0 emails & 0 letters for the cancellation. Disgraceful. No claims bonus letter, please & thanks!

I have been trying to contact AXA for the last couple of days! I had an accident 3 days ago. My car is still at the compound it was towed to. Not even arrived at the garage. I do not know if it is repairable or what??? The Garage say they haven't received authorisation to collect the car. They suggested calling AXA. What a joke!!!!! I am on my sixth phone call now. Each time, I am cut off, when the person i am talking to is in mid-sentence! You would think they would call me back, right? No, they don't! I pay for a courtesy car, but i am having to get taxi's to and from work. Until the garage receive my car, to assess the damage, they cannot allocate me a courtesy car. I literally do not know which way to turn. I WOULD NEVER, EVER USE AXA AGAIN!
