Didn't like the way the voluntary excess was added to renewal quote which was taken off when challenged. Also the basic breakdown cover is pretty pointless. Should take a look at Carole Nashes policy that allows you to ride other bikes fully comp like it used to be years ago as we all like to have a go on each others bikes. Only chose this policy because I won't be riding abroad this year but if things stay the same with Bennetts will probably go back to Carole Nash.

The insurance you provided me was very goodbut do not do it through your call center unless you have a lot of time on your hands.

The cover is good and the online set up is fine. However I was insured with Bennetts last year. When my policy was to automatically renew the paperwork said I did not have to do anything the payment would be taken from my card and all would be fine. On checking that no payment was taken automatically I contacted Bennetts only to be told the policy was not renewed and I should re apply on the website!!!!On doing this the same cover had gone up by more that £40 for the same cover on the renewal quoted on the paperwork why ??As it was not my fault the system did not automatically renew my policy on a credit card you should notify you customers. Or is this a "loophole in the system?Kind RegardsMr P Luxton

HelloLike all insurance companies the annual renewal came round with an unacceptable hike in premium cost and the hope that I would just allow it to be automatically paid from my bank account. A quick phone call through to your agent soon dropped the price to less than it was last year which in my opinion is where it should be as I have not had any claims to make.Insurance companies Banks Independent Financial Advisers... you are all the same.Having said that Bennets still appeals to me as a biker because I am slightly gullible.ThanksPeter

No problems with buying the insurance or when speaking with your staff thankfully not had to deal with a claim yet but it REALLY annoys me that when I get my renewal it is considerably more expensive that I am quoted by you on the Compare sites. You clearly dont in any way reward customer loyalty and when I've queried this with you I am told it is often the case and I'm best buying via one of the Compare sites.

I got my renewal quote which was over £340 for an sv650s third party fire and theft. I was not happy with the quote so I phoned up to see if I could get it any cheaper and I did by a couple of quid so I declined. I then went online to see what I could save and Bennetts quoted me £191 fully comp with breakdown cover helmets & leathers personal accident and legal cover. I did save the quote last month though but it does show you how much it can change.

Very good customer service. Only shortcoming is that I found a better deal online through Bennet than my online renewal. Why after 4 years no claims whatsoever does my insurance rates go up but can find same deal online cheaper? Thumps down for customer loyalty.

My policy went up by well over 20% this year how can you justify this amount not a happy customer this year.

Renewal notice came through at twice the previous year's premium. Challenged amount over the phone and magically got a reasonable quote! Happy to stay with Bennett's in the end but why should it be necessary for the customer to do the leg work? Surely that's what the broker should do.

If I hadn't gone online to get quotes for my bike insurance you's were going to be charging me 3 times what I'm going to be paying and the funny thing is bennetts came up with the cheapest quote for bike insurancesame policy as my previous one same details. I've saved myself £50 a month shopping first before just aaccepting what my insurance would have been for 2015-16. I will be doing it this way in future. I have no faults with staff or policy I thought you would have been trying to give me the best deal not stitch me up. Sorry if this is not what you want to hear.

This is my second insurance policy with Bennetts. My first policy was for a CG125 while I was still learning and yet to take my bike test. The service provided and the cost of the insurance policy was outstanding. I felt that I had a real bargain and was very pleased with the insurance policy etc. When I passed my test I immediately rang Bennetts to tell them that my licence had changed and I now wanted to insure my 500cc bike. The call centre operative was very helpful and the transition from a 125 bike to a 500 bike was smooth. The price of the policy rose a little bit but it still felt like a bargain.A few months later I attended a BikeSafe course. Upon completion of the course I contacted Bennetts to tell them of the change. The call centre operative wasn't very helpful and could not find the BikeSafe course on the computer. My second policy is for a new bike. The cost of the insurance has rocketed. I am now paying more for a 650cc bike than my 2 seater sports car! The call centre operative was the most unhelpful I have encountered so far. The phone line was terrible and I could barely hear him. Even when I explained this to him I swear he spoke quieter!Upon receipt of my insurance documents; which did arrive very quickly; I see that I am still a provisional licence holder according to Bennetts. This is after I informed them on the day I passed my bike test. What was the point in me informing them in the first place.I'm a little disillusioned with Bennetts at the moment. They were very helpful at the start; now it seems that they don't want to show the same level of customer care now.

One annoying point. If I go to a compare website I will always get a lesser quote than you offer me as a straight renewal. Why???? I know it's to catch new business but it is a crap way of showing appreciation to customers who are loyal to you.

Really like Bennetts to deal with. Staff very easy to talk to and very helpful. Only gripe is that upon receiving insurance documents I found that I had to log on to their site to enable me to read the policy notes and conditions as there was no policy booklet with insurance documents. Also I paid extra for EU recovery/breakdown and I didn't receive any documents to inform me who to call if a breakdown occurred. Surely I should not have to carry my PC with me while touring Europe in order to log on to Bennetts web site so that I can get the phone numbers to call in case of an emergency or breakdown. It might be better to provide a list of phone contact numbers with insurance documents. I have quickly looked at Bennetts site but still cannot find who to contact in case of a breakdown.

Quote was more expensive through your own site????it was cheaper through bike Insurer which is odd but that's always the case when renewing your policy i would have thought you would have rewarded loyalty by way of small discount but that's up to you......good policy documentation once completed will use again but would prefer a better quote than using search engines thanks Lorraine

Shame the original price I was quoted didn't turn out to be the one I paid...company was different ... and with all my voluntary excesses being doubled as well I wasn't thrilled. I have owned this bike for twenty five years and never made a claim...... does that tell you anything??? We are only talking a few pounds........ but they are in your favor not mine............ so left with a slightly uncomfortable feeling.

The website would not allow me to pay using my visa debit card I tried a second and that was not recognised. I had to phone to get the insurance.

Why wasn't I offered the best price at the point of renewal the new quote was MoreThan my previous years premium when I phoned up to question the cost the representativeQuoted me a new lower premium saving me over £30 because I was a valued customer!!!If I was that valued why is the best price not the price quoted straight out.
