Ce9758B , Having had problems with Carol Nash , I was hoping that going to Bennett was going to be a better option , then I get this letter to say that I had not mentioned an accident , but I did , it was late in conversation with one of your sales team , I had carol nash policy in front of me , and it said I have a two year now claims on it , so I past that info on . I spoke to your people on Friday morning and told them all this , and suggested they Listen to recording of sale , no one came back to me as promised

Like many other insurers bennets have gone down the road of exorbitant charges to make policy changes. In my case it was a change of postcode and house number. End of!! 2 minutes I was on the phone. £32 Later the postcode was changed. Premium remained the same so cost was for the 2 minute computer time. I make that about £960 revenue an hour. Outrageous treatment of loyal customers . Never will I use again and will spread the message widely. The guy on the phone was ok tho.

Annoying letters and threats to extract further monies from payment card account Their letter dated 6 days before postal receipt; how can that be unless they leave on desk for several days prior to posting? Contact number did not permit/enable options when selected.

I posted the review below and Bennetts have asked for my policy number - have no idea how to reply to the question so posting a new review in order to do this - apologies if not correct and please remove my first review if possible. Policy number is ZN98610C. I paid for motorbike insurance and then had to provide proof of no claims (which I sent twice but was rejected once because it wasn't on headed note paper and the second rejection which included the first page as requested by customer service which was from my previous company but was rejected as it didn't have an expiry date - really confusing as the document clearly stated the start date of the new policy which would be the expiry of the last one), The last lady I spoke to on customer service line clearly did not want to take my call and assist me - I had to force her to take my policy number so she could look into my exact policy and problem and then when I asked to speak to a manager she changed slightly and did offer to call my previous insurer (Carole Nash) but couldn't as there were 20 people waiting on the line - now clearly I am not wanted as a customer but the other 20 were!! I probably shouldn't have called on a Friday afternoon when the CS reps want to go home or have just come back from lunch and want a relaxed afternoon!. So the policy was cancelled (charged £30 for the privilege but worth it because I can't imagine the CS experience if I needed to make a claim or needed advice). On a positive note my previous insurer were and are brilliant and the level of service is outstanding - cannot believe the difference.

shocking service , renewed policy and they set up DD from my old dead account now the one we have been using for the past year , send a rude letter saying its my fault and will charge £50 to cancel as not been paid .... tried many times to call be wait time always over an hour!! sorry I have a life if there too tight to hire more people to man phones as must have a lot of issues if phones always busy .... profit before people come to mind ..... use a smaller company with good customer service

First look at your email you sent me. My name is Mr Egan not dear Egan also I wanted to pay the total amount your web page would not allow had to pay by installments so it cost more.

Very disappointed that you didn't give a competitive renewal quote. I had to go to a comparison site for a quote and quess what you have me a cheaper quote than my renewal quote.

You've just sent a letter threatening action over policy cancellation last year I didn't cancel. YOU cancelled a previous policy due to your inability to get BOTH bikes on that policy into the MID.... That error last year took weeks to sort out so I'm expecting more letters from you! When I phoned earlier, Wayne admitted fault at your end, but said you couldn't send a confirmation email of this for ten days. Very disappointed a problem from a year ago has prompted more poor service.

Just got off the phone with Bennett’s. I’m absolutely disgusted with the way I’ve just been treated. I rang them to cancel my policy and was told it would cost me £86. I ask them why it’s so expensive when my premium is only £174 for the year and I’ve had it over 6 months. I was that’s just how much it is, so I asked to speak to a manager and was told I could not speak to a manager because I didn’t have a good enough reason. This went on for 13 mins before he agreed to let me speak with a manager. I then waited another 16 mins only to be told the manager would ring me back. And then the phone went dead. Can not believe I’ve been treated like this! I will never use Bennett’s again.

Quote given on information given bennents confirmed that was the case. canceled insurance fifty pounds cancelation fee. I would advise riders beware.

I could not add a third bike to my multi bike policy and therefore had to cancel my policy as,the othe options with Bennett’s were too expensive compared to Carole Nash, Bennett’s would not waiver the £50 admin cancellation fee and therefore got less than 40% of my premium back for only 6 weeks insurance. NOT HAPPY!

Cancelled the policy after a few days because they didn’t give the full NCD I had on the two bikes I was going to insure on a multi bike policy. Insured both bikes elsewhere and saved enough to cover the extortionate cancellation charge they levied, Rubbish Won’t go near them again

Bennett's consistently attempt to inflate price at time of renewal. This year by a factor of 100%. Despite Bennett's sales pitch it is a transaction relationship.

Passed from pillar to post. No call back when promised. Transferred to another adviser and had to start all over again. No claims discount calculated wrong. Eventually got a helpful adviser and my premium reduced by around during £200,

I had paid for my insurance online and was £92 only to be charged another £107 when i rang about my NCD. I was told because it is new motorcycle i couldn't carry my NCD on this vehicle. I have used Bennetts insurance since the 80's. I was also informed that Bennetts do not recognise Thatcham approved alarms, which i find hard to believe as it's one of the most approved and recognised alarm systems! I have more than one bike insured with Bennetts and have in the past been allowed to carry my NCD onto another bike. I paid the said but won't be a customer with Bennetts next year.

I provided proof of no claims via an email, you sent a letter to explain that you had not received my proof, I then sent another email to the given address and sent a screenshot to the number given. Today the 19/8/17 I received a letter dated the 14/8/17 telling me that you have cancelled the policy. Absolutely appalling customer service and will avoid Bennets in the future.

BUNCH OF MONEY GRABBERS. WAS INSURED WITH THEM ON 2 BIKES NOW WONT ALLOW THE DISCOUNT. OUT OF TIME. THEY ARE OUT OF TOUCH
