Never even knew that I had renewed with Bennetts until I got this email. What a great con they are.

very disappionted have used bennets before without problem but when took out policy and sent in renewal notice from previous insurer as proof of no claim few days later had letter saying policy cancelled and money refunded minus £50 when phoned up to enquire told renewall notice not accepted but could take out new policy when asked about providing proof of no claims was told no problem they would phone previous firm for confimation took out new policy but still lost £50 feel conned

Shocking company taken money out my account for the last two years for someone elses policy they cancelled in 2013. Will not talk to me as i am not policyholder. Beware if you cancel your policy contact your bank to stop these crocks taking your money in future years. I couldnt give a zero rating or i would have

Very disappointed in the way Bennetts operate I have been insured for 1year with no problems however now that the insurance has come to end they have reinsured me without my consent with no new quote or breakdown all I have recived is a email thanking me for signing back with them (I have not signed anything or been asked to do so).Not good enough Bennetts and I will be cancelling my insurance asap and take my custom elsewhere

I have used Bennetts for more than 8 years ever since I had a scooter. The purpose of a commercial relationship is one of trust. You decided to increase the premium I pay by ca 50% in June. This is insane. And the opposite of a commercial attitude towards a faithful client like me. I spent 30min on the telephone yesterday to be offered a premium which is half as high as the one you were charging me: why didn't you automatically do that?!!Your renewal policy is sneaky and greedy.If you do the same thing next year I will have to switch to a new provider unfortunately.RegardsVincent

On the 1st phone call the young lady seemed a bit unsure about my questions but all in all helpful. On the 2nd call the gentleman was really slow took me 35 mins to sort out insurance they can only save 1 quote at a time so trying to sort out multi bike was a ball ache the price of the quote went up in 1 hour and trying to sort that out was also a ball ache.

Poor costumer services. Not sure if they are UK call centres as I constantly talked to foreign people. After 6 attempts to try and explain finally got to talk to jade who understood me. Supervisor was suppose to call me back twice but never before I finally talked to jade. Price on bennetts was more than comparison website ( not happy at all ). Will I use bennetts again? No unless they get there selves sorted.

I have had Bennetts for 12 months with automatic renewal which was fine when the 12 months was coming up I received a letter informing me that my insurance would be automatically renewed and that I didn't have to lift a finger which I thought was great.After a week or so I get a letter informing me that my insurance was due and to contact them.As I was told in the first letter that I Need not lift a finger I disregarded it thinking It was a duplicate or an oversight on there partFive days after the expiry of my insurance I checked my Bank statement to be sure that the new premium had been taken and I was surprised to see that it had not This means I was driving with NO insurance for five days! Bloody good job I never had an accident or was stopped by the police. Last time I go with Bennetts that's for sure.BE WARNED !!

just insured my new bike tried twice to do it on line then phoned office who told me problem with website but fixed know tried again to no availit then took 1hr to get insured over the phoneonly to find the problem i had in april my own fault i thought insurance had lapsed and insured it earlyspoke to bennetts and they assured me the new policy i had taken out was cancelled which it was but failed to tell me they had also cancelled the existing policy meaning ive been running about all summer uninsuredill think twice before insuring with bennetts again

was happy last year with Bennettshave my gsxr 600 insured through themcame away from my usual broker as was recommended to Bennetts by a friendnot happy at allwas told that my insurance had carried on another yearwas even sent a new quote saying not to change anything as it will carry straight on and only let them know if i did not want it to carry onwell had a letter saying that my insurance had been stopped by them and i was not insuredthis was 2 days after they had stopped itso if i was riding the bike during those 2 days if i had an accident i was not coveredhad to start a new quote with them when i rang them and then had to pay another deposit which i would not have needed toi explained i was not happy and it could have caused a lot of problems for me with the police and if i were involved in an accidentthey did not give me an explanation as to why it had been stopped but offered me a £10 cheque to cover some of the depositnot a lot considering the potential consequences of what could have happenedi will not be using Bennetts for my next renewal thats for sure.

Poor. Over the last five plus years I've been with bennetts. I never had to worry about my insurance automatically renewing. This year it didn't renew automatically. I only noticed a few days ago I'd not had new documents through. The guy said they sent me a letter. Unfortunately they sent to my old address because I hadn't updated address. Surely the emailing me for free would of got my attention. With a busy life most young people connect by email. Failing me contacting you. You sure of phoned me and left a voice message if I didn't answer. We something saying we have not automatically renewed your policy this year. Sending letters is old school and expensive. A text would be far cheaper.

Very poor ! I was messed about at the beginning of my insurance and as an apology offered bike mags as a sorry whitch I never reseved! Then at the end off the insurance period to this date I still have not had confirmation of my n/c as asked for !!I insured my kid with your selfs and tried to cancel today as she as moved on to a car after a moped and they sead no as they needed confirmation from her ! But was happy to take my money and set up in the first place You did not need to talk to her then !!!Very unhappy after years of using Bennetts I will never bother again A very unhappy and I will be pleased to see this on any promotional materials maybe not !!Mr pullen

Seemed like the dream insurance company when I read reviews and took out a policy.soon turned into a nightmare tried sending proof of no claims by tx as was told easiest way got one back saying unable to open attachment and to send instead via e mail to adress provided did this heard nothing back so thaught was sorted.went on holiday returned home to 2 letters 1 saying they hadnt recieved conformation of no claims n 1 saying my policy had bn cancelled. Contacted bennets told before anything could be done I had to pay £37.50 cancelation fee said I d done my best to provide the proof not my fault theyre system wont open attachments never had issues with anyone else .been bombarded with calls for 3 weeks now requesting the payment spoke to customer services finally after 3 attempts and giving up waiting on hold got nowhere women talked over me repeating everything when I still refused to pay was told case was been passed to debt collection .totally dissilusioned with this company and judging by what I v chexked on google I m one in a long listmof people who v had simular experiance .feel I v been treated very unprofessionaly

As usual if you don't get the good assistant it takes ages to sort simple quote. Every year it takes longer and longer to do a simple renewal.

Got a reminder email 1 month before renewal date. Renewed there and then. Wish I hadn't bothered got pestered by continuos reminders until renewal date. SORT YOUR DATABASE OUT. Then got stumped by an undeclared car crash in 2013. When I enquired about said incident got told all accidents wether on bike or car have to be declared. BUT although they take into consideration car accidents you get nothing for car no claims discounts. I ask you is that fair or yet just another insurance con.

TerribleVery difficult getting through on the phone. i originally took out and paid my insurance starting 15 april but your records never processed it. first i knew i had a problem was when i was told bike not insured. it took an hour on the phone to sort it out in the end cancelling the current insurance and taking out a new one.

Nice people - poor value insurance this yearMy renewal came in when i tested the price against price comparison site i found that i could save 60-70 % by going elsewhere When i spoke to bennetts this morning by cancelling and requoting I was looking at about 60% less than my renewal with the same underwriter on the same terms.Pretty disapointed clearly loyalty doesn't pay Nevertheless the guy who dealt with me was very helpful and despite me being 1 day into the policy cancelled it.

A very painful and disappointing experience - I never received a renewal notification just a letter saying thank you for choosing Bennetts and we've taken £243.95. Normally after receiving a renewal letter I like many others start to shop around for a better quote but never had the chance this time. I phoned and talked to a chap called Wayne he said it was my resposability to know when my insurance is due and not Bennetts I appreciate that however I don't write down dates such as insurance as I wait for the renewal notice which I never received. So I cancelled the policy losing £20 - I then went online searching for a new quote and found a like for like quote for £101.87 from a company called you got it Bennetts....How many unsuspecting customers are you doing this to???? Thank goodness for social media to help get the word out.RegardsJason Hardwidge.

Very very expensive. Another year with no accidents or claims and bikes worth less money. It renewed automatically as I had no time to get quotes elsewhere.
