My renewal was £40 more expensive then getting a new policy with the same company.

WATCH YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS. having cancelled the insurance renewal a month before it was due because i was moving house and assured the policy was cancelled for the end of April i was looking at my bank account on line and saw Bennetts had taken £101 from my account. almost two weeks later and 3 phone calls always promising to refund the money im still waiting for a refund . I have re insured my bike with Bennetts through a compare site and the policy was £15 cheaper. Lesson leared i ll never just renew with Bennetts !

Had to cancel my policy within 14 days as the cover was not right for me. They charged me £27. Not so good eh?

They are cheap for a reason they will rip you off when you only need to change a number plate details! I have a policy which only cost £60 and had only 4 months to run and they wanted to charge me £30 to change the registration number that's all. It wasn't worth it so had to start a new policy and loose the NCD and the company wasn't bothered one bit!!

I joined bennetts hearing great things but I wrong last year in the storms my bike got damaged I couldn't claim on my insurance because the excess was £1300 for a bike less the £500 I won't be recommending bennetts to anyone

Last Friday I rang your help line to let you know I have changed address and was told the insurer I was with will not insure me at the new address even after I explained I had only moved 2 miles away and my bike was still in a locked garage at the new property.I have had to cancel my policy and start a new one from Friday with a new insurer .I also had to wait on hold for 28 mins to speak to an adviser.And all this was just to update my details.

First time with Bennetts and based on the experience maybe the last . Site would not accept payments and had to phone 3 times to try to fix it first guy really helpful but second one (twat) says will phone back and did not resulted in wasted afternoon and early evening and unable to use bike next day as I had no insurance. Third guy was not much use and was put into waiting for an advisor line that I never got to Ended up spending more to pay by credit card and paying for 3 legnthy calls. unlikely to renew with

Very disappointed with Bennetts this year - Renewal Timing for me was difficult due to Business Travel abroad so I missed "continuous" cover by 2 - 3 day. The Re-Visit (new quote) to my Annual Insurance was then £40 more than the previous "Continuing Customer" quote. Nonsense for 2 days lapse ..."we can't access the lapsed Quote" / "we have to requite now even if only a few days later"! Nonsense Nonsense Nonsense! Peeved.

Left my insurance to renew automatically but I hadn't realised my card details had changed so ended up being uninsured for a week - was informed by post rather than text and when I did renew the premium had gone up by almost £40.00. Very unimpressed!

SAME AS LAST YEAR!!! No communication between the commercial team and the internet site. You try to sell me insurance at £300 when I have bought a policy on the internet at £215 for exactly the same cover. Is it incompetence or doubtful commercial practice?

A bit disappointed really I always use bennetts I got a quote on the 20th march for £59.70 brought the bike put in for the insurance to start on the 11th April it had gone up to £79.90 ? bit of a joke really when I thought the quote was good for 30 days? they wasn't the cheapest but like I said I always use them

Great price and service the first year but when the renewal came for the second year they doubled the premium even though my circumstances had not changed at all. They tried it on by suggesting my policy would renew automatically and not to worry because that they had searched their systems for the best price. When I called them for a better price it came down to a more realistic price in an instant. My advice is don't get caught out with the automatic renewal process I believe it is a Insurance Brokers tool to take advantage of repeat customers. Very disappointing but most companies do the same so keep moving your business to ensure you get the best prices available.

Very unhappy with the service so much i have cancelled this year.I had my renewal quote which was 3 times any others i got & wanted to explain this to someone over the phone at Bennetts. I was in phone queues for ages & had to give up on the call even at quiet times of the day.I have now gone elsewhere as i was unable to speak to someone.Very poor experience from a quality company such as Bennetts.I expected better. like for like quote was £460.00 compared to £140.80. Really is a no brainer.

Over the last month I've requested a hard copy of my insurance policy on several occasions by 3 e-mails and a telephone call and each time l have been told they would be posted to me within the next 7 days. As l send this review l have received nothing l am not impressed at all l doubt very much l shall be using Bennetts bike insurance again. Maybe someone who reads this e-mail could help but l won' t hold my breath.

i have been locked into Bennetts now for a couple of years and it keeps on getting better!!!! it appears thanks to their auto renew process i have had two policies on the same vehicle for the last two year something i only spotted today when two DD payments went out of my account on the same daythere has been many calls to them in the last 12 months to sort stuff out cancelling auto renews etc but never a mention of the two identical policies!!!!be warned........ when its money going to them they are superb at doing it i will never trade with them again

A poor service from the off haveing been with bennets for nearly 10 years this year has proved difficult after phoneing to insure my new bike and to tell bennets my old bike is now sold they tell me that i dont actually have a policy with them!! had i been riding round all year with no insurance? so i take new cover out and pay in full then get told i do have a policy for my old bike which is now sold still running so now i have 2 policys and 1 bike if i had not paid in full for my insurance i would cancel and get the hell out of here this is the last time i use this company. poor poor comunication from people speaking broken english makes matters worse never again

An arrogant company who keeping pushing the price up year on year despite no claims. Automatically renewed my policy without asking and I have now discovered I could have got the same deal £100 cheaper elsewhere. Taking you customers for granted will only make us vote with our feet. You need to send this years quote at least a month early to allow for people who are away to review it before you raid our bank accounts.
