“Despite being an existing customer, when I came to renew the quote for buildings and contents insurance was £28.43 per month, however, a further quote dated THRE DAYS LATER showed that the new premium would be £41.12 per month, an annual increase of £135.59 or a whopping 68%!!! Very unfair and extremely misleading practice.!! As a 74 year old living on a state pension , I cannot afford the cancellation fee Be aware!!”

“Utterly appalling! Blatantly riding the well publicised and criticised Auto-Renwal trick. Terrible Customer service will use delaying tactics to delay acknowledging your cancelation so they can keep charging you. They only started to make an effort to contact me about my issue after I left a bad review on Trustpilot.”

“No customer service even though we have both insured with them for some years ! They constantly charge for non return of monthly payment agreement when it's been in place for years Now we have changed cars and they can not insure the new Classic Car we have to pay £75 for cancellation which would not be applicable if they could insure our new car and £26 last months premium ! £101 for nothing and no help with payments !”

“Beware bullying tactics if the credit card they have on file expires before renewal. You'll be strong-armed into renewing with them, or facing high fees (and debt collectors). I chose to pay the fees, rather than give more custom to a company of bullies.”

“The 1 star is for the price of the insurance, no stars for the rest, they asked for proof of ncd which I emailed, since then I have had 10 emails and 1 letter saying they are going to double my insurance as I haven't replied, they then asked for proof of no claims again and dob and postcode so after several attempts to send them it wouldn't let me, I've had to ask my son in law who is a computer wiz to do it, it took him over an hour to do it, I think they do it intentionally so they can charge you double, never again.????”
