“my husband passed away and I was still driving his old car, when I made alterations to policy I was charged a £26 admin fee. Even after asking customer care if they could waiver the fee was told no way. Car engine size gone down but policy shot up.would only let me pay over 2 months even though there are 4 months left. Costs went from £17 pm to £40 something. Will definatley be looking else where on renewal. Not a very understanding insurer.”

“I have been a loyal customer for many years, never questioning the price and always paying on time. After finding out that I could get the same cover for less than half the price, with the intention of returning in the future, l cancelled my policy in plenty of time. I am still receiving demands for payment, what for no one seems to know. If this is your treatment of loyalty then I am totally disgusted, and will not be returning.”

“Great customer service, they answer phone straigh away each time...nothing is too much trouble for them. I made a claim for window replacement and it was dealt with asap. Really recommend them”

“Disgrace please be careful using this firm as they only give you 5 years no claims bonus so in 1 year iv lost 5 years of my bonus not happy to start all over again”

“They’re bunch of thieves. I’ve paid for the legal expenses but when it came to it they said it’s not working like that and it’s so expensive to do it for us. Therefore, they’ve decided on my behalf against me. So awful. Don’t get any close to them”

“I found them very easy and pleasant to deal with. I have a maisonette where the freeholders do not deal with the insurance we tenants do. They made a quick call to their legal department who advised this was ok and they could insure me unlike my previous insurers who didn't seem to know what a maisonette was and kept insisting that the freeholders did the insurance.”

“After dealing with local insurance companies for years I decided to try Churchill and it’s a disicion I haven’t regretted. Not only were they unbeatable in price they are a pleasure to deal with. Having recently made a claim their staff have been so helpful during what was a difficult time. I’ve had friends who have also switched to Churchill in recent months and I certainly plan on staying with them in the future.”

“There really is an issue getting to speak with someone based in UK. We have 3 cars with them and will be moving elsewhere. was adding my daughter to our policy for my wife's car and wanting £500 for 3 months worth of cover. Complete and utter rip off and no help to try and reduce the premium by offering black box reduction.”
