The worst and most arrogant insurance company I had to ever deal with. The DVLA which is the country's legal motor vehicle authority titles my vehicle on my V5 with correct classification .... Churchill decided "they know of better" and when I challenged them on their ignorant approach trying to override the DVLA .... they cancelled the Policy with 14 day expiry date .... just what I needed while on holiday. Had to end up searching for insurance while in USA and luckily had "LV Insurance" phone number ... So insured the car with them and took 15mins, and cost nearly half of what I was paying Churchill ..... These fools are a bunch of arrogant cowboys .... save yourself aggravation and use a decent company like "LV Insurance"

Churchill gave me lowest quote on my car insurance and provided a free twelve months break down cover which none of my other insurance provider has offered I would definitely recommend Churchill if any one is looking for cheap insurance cover

Probably the WORST car insurance company I have dealt with in my many years of driving. I have NEVER left a negative review online. But felt I need to highlight this incidence. They more than doubled my son's car insurance premium, even although he was never involved any accidents, made or had any claims against him. When we challenged why the premium had increased by more than double, they had no answer, just that's what the underwriters had provided. Not a very clear justification in my mind. The person on the phone was insensitive and her tone of voice and method of communication was as if she wasn't really interested and reading from a script. When I said, I would not be renewing all my other insurances that we have with Churchill, it was case oh well whatever. It must be one of the worst customer services I have experienced by far. This company make MILLIONS each year, they hike insurance premiums up and don’t seem to care as they seem to believe they can charge the extortionate prices with impunity. I was disappointed at the way my son was treated and subsequently the way I was treated when I challenged the increase. Never mind, if the underwriters think they can make a quick buck by hiking up my son's premiums, they have lost all of our insurances, which is way more that they would have made from my son's price hike. He eventually got his car insurance from another company, who was cheaper than Churchill was last year, so look around where you can find equivalent insurance cover at a much cheaper cost. I'm not sure at what point in time will these companies will understand we can move insurance companies easily and painlessly.

Guttering got blown off front of my house last weekend with the 'high winds' up in Aberdeen - called up & reported it nice friendly guy even told me we had 57mph winds in Abedeen as we spoke..Churchill Sent up guy to take photo's etc - turns out it's not classed as a storm if it's not above 55mph winds! bins were all over the street + a tree down! So NO claim!!! Total joke they get there wind speeds off weather forecast which varies - was only going to be claiming around £200 after paying my excess..have over 5 years no claims(actually never claimed insurance before) so cancelled my policy immediately to gain some money back I paid them & wont use or advise Churchill again - especially with our high winds weather nowadays! I am delighted to see that Churchill is not one of the insurance companies trying to rip off their clients by hugely increasing their premium compared to what was paid last year. Was delighted to see that my household insurance had only risen by £10 from last year, I even negotiated a slight reduction on that with their very helpful agent, Jaymie. WELL DONE CHURCHILL FOR CONSIDERING YOUR CLIENTS BEFORE PROFITS!!

I had my insurance with Churchill for a year it online it was ok in beginning after4 month the price up I didn't not receive a letter saying your premium will increase. I didn't want to argue with then I just cancelled.

Today I spoke to Regan he was so pleasant and helpful not like the other companies I phoned round who all sounded fed up, I didn't buy the quote with Churchill in the end as it was quite expensive but I think regan deserves some recognition for his excellent customer service

We purchased our car insurance via the website which lead us to believe we had national recovery included in the package we selected. This has been missold on the website and when we actually broke down we were told we only had local recovery and it would cost £200 for us to get home. It also took 5 hours for a tow truck to eventually come. After a number of emails and calls highlighting the product we purchased online clearly shows national recovery nothing was done and we were told they could not help us further and did not refund the money.

Very happy. Laura was friendly, efficient and coped really well with my overly chatty personality. We got all of the legals done, and I had everything I was hoping for, plus break down cover (which I had forgotten, duh!) Top marks to Laura
