Competitive quote given including breakdown cover. Policy compared well with others but at a much reduced price. This will obviously be paid for by a much heavier renewal next year so realize may have to look around for renewal. Thank goodness for Go Compare to help with this.

Generally I found their service great. Sometimes a bit of a wait to speak to customer service on the phone but they are always helpful and polite. I had a no fault claim and literally the best service I have received from an insurance company. Claim processed quickly. Car picked up quickly and courtesy quickly dropped off. Couldn't fault the claims team.

Appalling company - spent hours on the phone trying to sort out a no fault claim - the other person's insurance company had already said they'd pay out - I wish I had taken them up on their offer. I will never get insurance with this company again.

I Got a quote for my wife 10 days before the insurance on her car was due with another company l got a price on Churchills website after getting a reasonable quote l phoned and spoke to a lady who ran through everything with me and confirmed the price was correct and she then gave me a ref number and said quote this number when my wife phoned and she gave the number there was nothing listed after 12 minutes on a NONE free phone number and not getting anywhere and paying them for the privilege of getting no where we decided to forget Churchills insurance quote if they can't find your quote when they want your business what will they be like for a claim FORGET CHURCHILLS AND GO TO LV FOR REALLY COMPETITIVE PRICE WHEN WELL CALLED LV IT WAS DEFINITELY HO YES MR D. Cowell

They were very helpful in setting up my ins as my previous insurance was for a mobility vehicle and they were not helpful when it came to proving NCD .. .. I did get one this problem after a short while .. .. I have not made a claim so can't comment on this

Due to bump in car (dent in tailgate) I contacted Churchill and spoke to Liam. This gentleman was very easy to speak to. Everything was explained & my car is due for uplift tomorrow. I will write review how things progressed once my car is returned. Thanks again Liam

Seems a well thought out site. Simple form. Good price for well recognised insurer. Cheaper policies are out there, but not with the trust given by this insurer.

Excellent company & policies until the most recent one taken out. Please be careful. We had an overlap on a proof of no claims due to having a policy on another car which we were selling. Because the car didn't go back on the same day as the new policy started and the previous insurance company did not send the proof of no claims for 3 weeks Churchill firstly said they hadn't received proof even though we had email confirmation of this. Then after saying all was ok on 13th September we received a letter saying they were cancelling our policy. I rang again and have had to pay a further £6.72 due to the lapse. Pity I wasn't told this when insuring the car. Quick enough to take the money for the policy in full though. Really not impressed..

After several calls & emails over last 2 wks still no answers on my concern after having insurance yrs ago with them & posting on data base had led to my son having to pay £200 extra as no email or letter arrived to send to his insurance company after putting me as named driver ! All sucks

Fine until you need to make a claim. We needed to make a household (home and contents) claim following an escape of water. The property was left untouched for nearly three months while everything went mouldy, and then the company fought every since penny of the claim claiming they weren't responsible for so much. Communication from them has been terrible- refusing to answer our questions, while bombarding us with questions of their own, and some of the third parties they use are downright rude. Fortunately- against their advice- we removed all our valuable and sentimental items the day of the claim. If we hadn't done so, everything we treasured would have been lost to their negligence. They have admitted they many mistakes were made on our claim, involving crazy amount of time and hassle for us in sorting this out, but haven't offered a penny in compensation for this.
