I got the service with emergency cover. When I had a burst pipe the dial direct appointed plumbers failed to fix the problem on 3 occasions. When I stopped the service dial direct informed me there was nothing else to pay (as I was up to date on payments). They then proceeded to pursue me for £14.92 using a debt collection agency. I eventually paid the sum just to get dial direct off my back. Dreadful company- does not do what it says on the tin.

cheap first year, although they say it was sent, no notification email received regarding renewal, but they happily send a text to tell you the policy has been renewed. When checkin, the premium jumped excessively, +£30 to cancel renewal. phone to customer services to query, with the comment from customer services its my responsibility to remember when the insurance rental is due..

a problem occurred regarding an accident that was assigned to me but my partner had it and the company despite been given evidence from their insurance would not accept it and my premium is high because of it.

My van insurance went up,almoust double without any warning or asking for my permision on renewal !I payed their monthly fee and then next day i decided to cancel my policy.I got no refund for that money + i have to pay them 50 gbp cancelation fee.I won't recomend !

Excellent policy- just too expensive at home insurance renewal date being approximately £230 more expensive for the year than very similar policies from other competitors. Shame as they were very competitive when we originally changed to them. Just shows: it is always sensible to shop around every year, even if you had a good deal last time.

First insurance - no problem. Afterwards very poorly advised autorenewal at extortion price. Massive cancellation fees. Defnitely nod advised.

Posted my no claims details to them, they didn't inform me they hadn't received them just charged me £75 and cancelled my insurance without telling me which left me driving uninsured! Rang them and they couldn't care less. Won't be using again.

Your renewal premium was never transcripted to me you increased the premiums without prior notification .this left me with bank charges .I am not happy and thinking about involving the ombudsman . . very unhappy

Don't go near them. They doubled the price after two months , wouldn't let me cancel unless I paid an outrageous amount of money. Have subsequently been quoted much near the original by other providers. Won't use this site or insurer again.

Dial Direct were very happy, and quick, to take my money, but put every obstacle in the way to ensure I had to pay more and more for my policy by totally ignoring my evidence of no claims bonus. Even the operator I spoke to on the phone admitted the company make things very difficult for customers to buy insurance for the cheap prices they advertise. I cancelled my policy after one week as I did not trust them at all. Be careful!!

My claim experience with Dial Direct was awful! My claim was in October 2014 and the unsatisfactory outcome is still causing me distress to this day! The process it's self was very very long winded, and although majority of insurers now offer a 'like for like' option when making claims, Direct Dial do not. Even if their clients finance company requests that it be done this way. I have since had to make a claim with an alternate company, and that process was handled quickly and smoothly with no fuss. If onlyi'd chose them the 1st time around...

do not know anything about they have never been in touch. i have no idea where my documents are, but then again it is on line and i have no idea how to access it. basically a total waste of my time. so disapointed. why no letter and why do i need to press lots of different pages to access it anyway.

Far too many phone calls and letters for an 82 year old lady to deal with. Only took the insurance as all the hassle was making me ill. My son always helps with my insurance needs, this year I was not well and could not be bothered with all the irritations this company caused, so I just said yes. Never again I will let my son sort it out for me online.

Premium about £17 per month. Had to cancel mid policy. Cost £75 in charges. Nearly 5 months worth of premiums. Bit of a rip off.
