“I believe my driving was scored fairly however having 10:00pm as a driving time restriction can sometimes destrupt day to day activities.”

Hi, In order to shield our drivers from the most risk especially driving after 10:00, we reduce scores however we do know you may need to on occasion and therefore don't impose an actual curfew ~Joe?

“They do have the cheapest insurance for drivers. Especially new ones. However im not sure that the hlacl box records things precisely enough. With a good score, my insurance has been halved!!”

“The app was really useful for telling me how good my driving was, but i would've liked to know how i could improve for each drive itself, for example where in particular did i show speeding in my journey”

“Hastings Direct were the best priced for the insurance I needed. All sorted quick and easily on line and emails arrived quickly containing all paperwork. Unfortunately never managed to download the app to keep a check on the mileage. Got a driver rating of 49 but unsure what that means”

“Really easy to contact with any concerns, had absolutely no trouble throughout the three years I was with them and when I got a new car, switching the black box and insurance over was easy! All staff that I contacted throughout the time I was with them were really helpful.”

“For the smart miles system i believe that the scoring system for the "Time of day" section needs to have a little bit more of a leniency as some people work or dont finish certain hobbies till gone 10pm. Im not saying the the time advised should be changed but it needs to have a way that is fair for everyone.”

“This is my third year with Hastings Direct SmartMile's and I've loved it! You cannot tell the box is there, but you can monitor your driving online. When it comes to renewal, if you have driven well, you get a discount!”

“by sending the information re renewal to the correct e-mail address when notified on several occasions but like this e- mail yet again it has come through to the wrong person as this is her step-fathers e-mail and we no longer live at the same address”
