The renewal price for my second year was excellent and proves if you drive correctly with the box fitted, you will get a great reduction the following year.

I think they should have responded to concerns quicker and, make one time allowances for the curfew on the black box as I really needed it extended for a shift at work by 3 hours and they wouldn't even negotiate the case.

Shocking service, refusal to renew policy with no valid reason even though I have been a loyal customer and never had to make a claim. Promise to call back and never do, they also cut the phone off mid conversation.

I have rated 5 stars as all communication has been polite informative and friendly, the app is user friendly efficient. I don't usually renew with same insurance company due to massive price increase, however Hastings were very competitive.

Great service, had my renewal explained and also tips on my box such as i now get unlimited mileage and can go out after 10. The discounts have been amazing year on year. This is my 3rd year with Hastings and i continue to stay with them for a long time!

Really good cheap Insurance but because the black box acceleration score is measured from throttle usage it can give inaccurate scores with small cars where a higher throttle level is required to maintain the same speed (eg Toyota Aygo 100 speed, 98 Breaking, 0 Acceleration) Which is enough to bring down discounts. Work on that and it will be a solid 5 stars

Not had any issues with them whatsoever so far, and they have more than halved my insurance for my second year, so very pleased with them overall

Following an accident, I was sent letters threatening court action by the other party?s insurance company because Hastings had not paid them and they were holding me liable for the costs - this happened twice regarding the same accident. I had to regularly call and nag Hastings to get them to do anything which meant hours and hours on hold and phone bills of over ?100. It was horribly stressful.

Hi,? I am sorry you've been approached by the other party's insurance in order to try and gain a more advantageous settlement for them. We work hard to get the right outcome and on occasion are unable to prevent issues such as this.
