“Was really unhappy with how much my car insurance went up when moving to a different city despite my car being left in a 24 hour security car park. Find it very limiting not being able to drive slightly past 10 and I feel on some occasions it should be acceptable if you have a valid reason. Would not recommend as a car insurance provider”

Hi Tamsin, Sorry to see you had an additional premium to cover the car at your new address. You can drive after 10:00pm as we do not impose a curfew - it will simply decrease your time of day score? ~Joe?

“i think telling customers they was sending monthly payments to a third party company and also come out and service the boxes in the cars because I think mine is broken”

“Provide a better customer service and respond to complaints emails. Act like you actually care about your customers and help resolve any issues that may occur. If this hadn't of escalated like it has I would have been giving 4 stars due to the smart miles box not being descriptive in each catagory. However I was happy with my renewal price.”

“improve their transparency on their policy., The driving score has shown 0 for braking ever since the policy started . This was reported to Hastings but ignored. Also, score also doesn't average out. If you drive after 10pm then the score goes down but doesn't then average out over a period when the car isn't driven after 10.”

“Absolute joke!!! My son's breaking score has never left 0 and now, after 10 months they have conveniently decided that his score is under 40 and will cancell his policy. It almost smacks of a scam!! Now having to pay £200 to have the telematics box removed!! DO NOT SIGN UP!!!!”

“Very harsh marking on the SmartMiles box. I drove a return trip at around midnight and my “time of day” score immediately went down to 0 from 100. I was aware that my score would go down but to 0... I think that is a joke and I would not have gone to Hastings if I knew. My sister drives at night with MoreThan and does not get penalised remotely as much as I did.”
