AVOID AVOID JMI just got off the phone they kept me on for 20 mins it cost me £14 the call back is a joke you cant transfer your insurance to another bike they make you cancel and start again I WILL NEVER USE THEM ONLY TELL PEOPLE TO NOT USE THEM

insured my bike 2 months ago ,sold bike brought anouther bike same make same model just a year older and the ROBBING FOOKERS wanted anouther 91 pounds ,50 pounds admin fee and 41 pounds because basically had a different number plate ,,,unfortunately for them I am the events organiser for the Yamaha xjr owners club we do a lot of bike shows so I am going to get a banner made and let thousands of bikers who come to the major uk shows ,know what this company are like ,,,,lets hope we take a lot of custom away from these thiefs

absolutely terrible, expensive, dont know own policies.. after my bike was stolen they demand i replace it or pay the next 6 months outright of my contract within 14 days.. changing the policy is a surprise 50quid admin fee for costing me money on the phone. They are charging me a LOT as a non eu citizen with full au motorcycle license. shop elsewhere.. you realy added stress to a terrible situation you vultures.

Terrible costumer service. First, when i had a breakdown, took me 1 hour to get things started as "they couldn't find my documents on the system" Did not gave refund after the 10 working days Use at your own peril

Very poor service Charge you double if you change your bike Charge you for 12mts insurance then charge on top for an additional 6mts Very poor Very bad Save your money and go somewhere else

I was a customer with JMI for several years. By far the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. I've moved all my vehicles to another provider now (for a excessive fee of course). Their prices seem cheap in comparison but with all their hidden fees and their really bad service loads of competitors with a better reputation will offer you way better value for money and a way better all round customer service. I highly recommend against using this company.

Never use this company I have paid for my documents to be sent to me it's now been over 8 weeks tried for 4 weeks to get hold of them with no luck I have also sent emails to them they replied saying they would get to me with in 2 days still waiting for the call after a week do not use Micky mouse company

My policy was canceled 14 days after it started because they wrongly evaluated my no claim proof ("expiration date" misplaced for "start date") and they told me it as a fact and so they can't do full refund because I didn't send information which they even didn't asked for.

lost £50 on admission fee for canceling a claim i had no idea that had gone out, because of there technical issue's I had on there website, just had my money wasted for nothing, and for a fault that was not mine, and i could not take the problem any further, going to have to go with out food for a week no thanks alot, very angry ex customer supposably, i would not waste my time again with this company, hope this save people in the future alot of time and money.

I purchased a policy for my Honda Firestorm VTR but before I paid I rang and confirmed the cancellation charges. I was lied to about the charges and now they are trying to get a £50 fee + 2 months insurance! What a joke. Even the Chief Executive dont seem interested. So all in all I would never buy from them aka Carol Nash again. Bunch of liars.

Worst insurance provider i have ever been with i cancelled a policy that was due to start with a few days then got letters about payment i again then phoned them and told them to cancel then in a few days got another letter charging over £60 for them cancelling my cover had to phone again and they denied i had even rang them to cancel i told them to check their recorded messages they never rang back the next day as agreed (no suprise) customer servive is appalling got to a point that the operater was almost calling me a liar and arguing with me

Asked them to cancel my insurance 3 days before direct debit was supposed to be taken out. Called them 3 or 4 times before that date. Still got taken. Cancelled it by direct debit and the incompetent fools didn't tell close premium and received and email one month later saying I'm in arrears! Called them up again and they told me I owe them 300 pound 50 pound for cancellation and 250 for 'paying off the loan?!!! They are pulling figures out of their a** couldn't even explain to me what the 250 was for.

Appalling customer service, obstructive, refusals to allow me to speak to managers, have spent about 5 hours on the phone to them in the past few weeks (mostly on hold), twice told that I would be called back "within 24 hours" yet 48 hours late no phone call, received emails with vital correspondence from them that was virtually unreadable and no pdf option to open the letter. In the most recent phone call I was charmingly told by the guy (a team leader/manager) I spoke to that he had been 'lumbered' with my case.

I have a problem where they have deducted payment twice. Tried calling them....on hold forever and then told there is no one available to speak to you. My supervisor has told me to hang up on you as there are other calls waiting...bunch of tossers

WARNING !!!! Do not insure with them !!!! they have overcharged me by £1000 and they its taking forever to take my money back i have already called them 15 time in the past 5 weeks and now they want to refund me only £600. I am having a terrible time trying to get my money back.

Worst insurance company I have ever had the misfortune to choose Three months on a 12 emails I still don't have my policy I would prefer to walk than have to use these people ever again

Told by theBikeInsurer.co.uk that my "buy" from JMI had not gone through. That was untrue. I was charged. I never received a policy. Told by JMI to wait for the policy in order to cancel it! Finally 3 days after the start date I got them to cancel my non existent policy. They charged me £25. They were never "on risk". I never got the policy with terms and conditions. They never sent me a policy so what admin costs were there. Also I spent alot on 0844 numbers to sort it all out. You judge? Avoid them like the plague.
