found this company excellant for our requirements and much cheaper than our previous insurers who we had been with for thirty years we would have no hesitation in dealing with them again

Our boiler was leaking water but Legal & General couldn't get anyone out for 4 days - I was changing the towels every 15 mins as they were soaking wet but Legal & General wanted me to wait for 4 days - eventually they got out a plumber to stop the water but then we were without heat for 4 days in October.

They are ok, but best of all I have not had 100's of calls and emails from them trying to sell me more stuff since I took out the policy which is a clear improvement over other compaines

I moved home after purchasing the insurance and was able to transfer the policy to my new property with no problems. Spoke to 2 or 3 different staff members and all extremely helpful.

My puppy was treated for a benign tumor, with a large cost. The customer service were very sympathetic and helpful. I had only been paying a few months but they paid in full, for which I was very grateful..

It was extremely easy to take out the policy, the documents were sent by email. The price was the cheapest I could find that provided the cover I needed. It also enabled me to pay by monthly instalments.

My dog was diagnosed with an immune disease two months after I signed up with L&G ,but they paid out all my claim and when the end came in November they paid up and even cancelled the policy ( I would have been prepared to pay the years premiums as L&G had already paid out more to me)

I took out insurance for my 15 year old cat last March and he became very unwell in December resulting in him being hospitalised for two days. He has now made a full recovery. I submitted the claim at the beginning of January and have just been informed that it has been accepted and is being paid to me in the next two weeks so I am happy with the outcome. Please be aware that as well as the excess you have to pay 20% of the whole bill for older pets which means that the actual excess is Greater than the one stated. In my case the excess was £75 but then you have to pay 20% of that as well making the excess £90 before then paying 20% on the rest of the bill. Despite the above I think that the policy gives good value for money and I am pleased that I switched to it from my previous insurer and would recommend it to others.
