“Awful service from M & S, not the first bad experience from them. Sunflower Bouquet arrived on Friday but were dead by Wednesday. Have bought sunflowers for a fraction of the cost from sainsburys and they've last twice as long. Not the service you would expect from M & S”

“My daughter sent me a Thinking of you M&S gift when I broke my arm. The biscuits were nice, the scented candle nice, the bouquet was terrible. None of the white roses opened, just wilted on the stems, and the stocks fell to bits and drooped at once. I followed all the instructions and had the flowers in a cool place, thrown out after three days. What a rip off, £40 for some shortbreads and a candle.M&S should be ashamed.”

“Be warned that M&S flowers are delivered by Yodel. I was disappointed to find the delivery slot for my aunt’s 100th birthday wouldn’t be until 16.25-18.25. In the event the flowers didn’t arrive at all! Eventually delivered next day - missing her birthday and having spent previous day in the back of a van in a heatwave! So disappointing. Was not entitled to refund as the flowers did eventually get delivered. Will NOT be using again.”

“Terrible do not order I sent my uncle flowers was nearly dead when arrived lasted 2 days couldn’t find a complaint line to email very easily and on line live they was rude and I got they will perk up in the morning REALLY xx AVOID”

“These flowers were sent for a ery special birthday from a very special person. Totally drooped when arrived. I didn't want to tell the sender as know would be Embarrassed and upset. I've been trying for nearly a week to ask customer services to assist Despite giving customer service all the information I have on delivery this includes address of sender email the label sent to me customer reference everything on flower parcel customer services still stay can't trace.....can you believe! Postcode is all that's needed. Marks and Spencer customer service are being most unreasonable which is a shame as I had always trusted. My experience not good for customer service and flowers delivered in poor condition”

“Sorry to say had a surprise delivery of flowers last week which should have been lovely but some roses and eucalyptus well past their sell by date , had to throw some away and irises have bloomed but are brown , stocks heads falling off as soon as I undid the paper. Couldn’t tell the sender as didn’t want to upset them so no redress really , think someone should know . Had them 4 days after trying to rescue them and really finished today 5 th day . Bit upset really as I know they are expensive too .”

“My third negative experience with m ans s flower delivery 1 flowers sent to a friend gor a special birthday-never received - claimed coukd not find the address. No apology 2 flowers received for mother’s day - a number dead or dying 3 flowers received for my birthday- a third dead or dying by day two Would not recommend Plenty of great flowers via post not via m and s”

“I ordered peonies for my sister in law and brother in law. Arrived ok but only 4 opened. After less than a week they were dead. This is not good enough marks and spencer. I will be requesting a refund. I definitely will not order flowers from you again”

“Ordered flowers to be delivered in 2 days time. Received email from yodel saying they’d be delivered on the specified day between 1:30 and 3:30. At 4 pm received an email saying delivery had been refused, when in actual fact, they hadn’t even tried to deliver them. Called M&S who said they’d send replacements the following week. Very disappointing not to have to my order delivered on the day I paid for and frustrating that the courier didn’t even bother trying to deliver and then lied about it. Do better M&S and Yodel”

“Over a period of one year had flowers delivered from m&s..Every one of those deliveries had at least one broken stem, usually two..For the price I think they could pack them better..I personally would never use them. Ps..what is the point of leaving email address when I was the receiver,not the one that ordered them”

“Ordered flowers on 22nd June to be delivered today to a Funeral Directors for my friends funeral tomorrow. Had a text from Yodel at 19.48pm this evening to say my flowers were out for delivery and would be delivered between 17.00pm-19.00pm. So basically they will not be delivered today, as the delivery Stops at 19.00pm. Rung Marks and Spencer Complaints and spoke to Melissa, who also said they will be delivered today to start with! I said they won't as they don't deliver after 19.00pm, as it states at the start of M and S message. Now been told she will message Yodel fir Delivery before 11am tomorrow. Totally upset and disgusted of the incompetence from these people!”

“Delivery to an elderly couple that live in managed apartments . Just dumped outside front door to apartment block and no attempt to contact the recipients via push on doorbell or indeed a resident manager in office 20ft from front door. Dreadful service!!!! Gift ruined”

“Ordered flowers for a friend's 50th. Decided to have them delivered to me so I could take them to her rather than being delivered to her. So glad they came to me, they arrived bone dry and half dead! I'd have been mortified if they'd gone to my friend! They were all limp and bent over and the majority of the roses were all brown. Very disappointed. Also I only knew they'd been delivered from receiving a text, the driver didn't ring the bell or knock the door!”

“My friend ordered flowers for me to be delivered on the 21st June I was in all day in fact I didn't go out until today 23rd June. When i went to get in to the car I saw a large box. Flowers from my friend they were dead. No ring on the door bell.no.note through the door. Good old Yodel again they are useless why you keep using them I don't know waste of money”
