Got insured at 1pm. Bought bike. Had a breakdown at 5pm. Phoned said insurer who claimed to have free breakdown to be told we've never heard of you!

Received an email after I had renewed my policy (all details the same) asking me to confirm all the same questions I had gone through on the telephone, A waste of my time

It happens every year! They enter a wrong date for when I passed my licence and now my premium is higher! They don't correct it and they don't want to adjust my premium! Very bad service and rude over the phone! Going to their complaints department. Let me see if they will correct it!

Absolutely awful had to ring up five times to make the same change and they still kept writing the wrong date down. One point I thought they had to be doing it on purpose no one could be that bad at their job surely especially five different people

Avoid this company. I had a puncture when I went for the bike that I bought and they did not help me because they do not cover the claims in the first 10 days of the policy. Then, why to say that the policy has started? Is that to misinform the customers on purpose? If I knew it, I could go to another insurer. It could not be worst form my experience.

Customer service ok ,but to talk to an advisor cost me £16 on phone charges beware !,MCE is not free to call .Can you imagine the bill if have to make claim .Not happy and will go elsewhere next year .

Price I got on quote was different to price paid. I was shocked to find I had to pay insurance as if I was driving a luxury car.

Got cut off over the phone so arranged insurance online. I no longer needed the policy 24hrs later and when i called to cancel the policy i was charged £62. This is a ridiculous charge and i will no longer use MCE in the future. Very upset. I advise everyone else to use different insurers.

average until something goes wrong, then appalling. non fault claim took them a year to resolve. You can't contact the claims department inthese case and they can't arrange call backs. I did make some progress when I formally complained.

Not good at all. Share my storie. My scooter bike as been stolen. Move give me zero what do you pay 100 pound a month a give zero My name Is Damien moha share please no one should take a go whit this company

Did not have shed for option so put garage, get email after 2 week cooling off period to tell me what is classed as garage then up access by £200 and charge extra £30 on policy. Do not trust this company, rip off merchants.

DO NOT RECOMMEND MCE!!!!!!! APPALLING SERVICE! My car got hit on the 7th of JUNE, today is the 25th of JULY! I still have not received a solution to my case. Sent them everything they needed and requested, NO FOLLOW UP whatsoever! Was on the phone to Accident Support team for 59 minutes to try and get a replacement car, but the outcome of that phone call was they were not able to give that support...... Tried using online chat. Another useless system, they just told me to call them, always placed on long hold and paying expensive charges!

Had an e-mail to say policy was due for renewal, contacted them, asking for price. No one bothered to call or email and i then get an email telling me my insurance had lapsed. Had to ring up and renew thus not giving me a chance to compare prices.

Well stupidly I didn't check the policy when it was issued BUT I have just seen that it was issued as (Use for social, domestic and pleasure purposes. EXCLUDES journeys between home and normal place of business) I specifically asked for all three when speaking with the call handler. Plus trying to contact MCE is a nightmare, always please hold. Trying to correct this and find out if I have European cover....why oh why do we have this problem with insurances :( :(

Issued insurance via broker for VIN only insurance which was then cancelled due to the fact they 'don't provide it' despite it being one of their adversed policies.

Only renewed because of ongoing claim from April, actually I am very disappointed with MCE performance regarding appointment of lawyer etc dealing with claim members of staff spoken to have a very cavalier attitude,I have lost 6 months insurance 4 months road tax no one asked was I ok after coming of my bike,all questions asked where loop hole questions to elude insurance claim and making it void.Hope insurance claim gets settled and becomes no fault claim and both you and me are rembursed and next year we can call it a day,would seriously consider paying more for insurance to end ties with MCE Regards Mr William Home.

Excess from £600 to £1500 pounds. Told I could pay extra to reduce by half but that was another department who would call me back, still waiting.

The reason I am writing this review is because MCE as a company is a joke and does not care about you as a person, nor do they provide you with the service you have paid for. I had a motorbike accident two years ago and due to MCE's incompetence, I have now got a CCJ on my credit file. The payment for my bike was paid quickly and I thought everything had been resolved. Two years have passed where they should have paid the third party but haven't. A CCJ was raised almost a year ago and was set side ready for payment but MCE never paid. Now, as payment has still not been made to the third party, another CCJ has been raised and MCE are still not dealing with the matter of payment of getting this CCJ removed from my credit file. MCE never mentioned they weren’t paying the third party for whatever reason, nor have they informed me that anything negative had been raised in my name. I had to find this out the hard way when I was rejected for finance. MCE has made promise after promise to get this sorted but still haven't. They now do not respond to any form of correspondence. I have been forced to seek legal aid to resolve this matter but still to no positive outcome. Quite frankly, MCE should not be allowed to offer insurance and I would strongly recommend that people would avoid using this company for their own protection. MCE do not care about you as a person and are willing to ruin your future, all so they can keep the money rolling in. How can a company this large be so terrible when dealing with legal matters? How can this company be a leading sponsor for BSB but not care about you as an individual when you have paid them for a service?
