staff i spoke to rattled through everything at lightning speed with no care or explanation - didnt seem bothered. when i questioned price doubling he suggested it was due to change of address despite parking changing from street to brick-built garage. i discovered he was offering fully comp not 3pf&t as per previous 7 years. he didnt even spot that. i bought online instead and it was cheaper as suspected. cheap premiums, rubbish service & high excesses. you get what you pay for.

I got the lowest form of insurance with MCE, Third Party only £118, Im skint so opted to pay in installments, they took it all in one go??? How stupid can you get.

That’s my 3 year in a row I’ve been doing my insurance with MCE and got expensive each year increase a bit more and now it’s double comparing to the first year! Not happy with the prices, not happy with the changes in terms and conditions, and not happy with the service itself because once you said to the team: listen my details still the same in all senses!! The trick is.. they do all the same questions again to confusing yourself and make changes that is gonna increase your quote, I just renewed with them because was cheaper (not much to be honest) than other companies.

I'm quite upset because I paid everything and even though, Jack the customer service advisor who got all my details for the insurance and I asked him many time for the documents to be sent to email so that way I could go to get my scooter in the shop at it is brand new and I can not take it because I haven't got the paper work as I requested to Jack White and he said he sent me the link to get the paper work but I was not true because I got the emails as proof of what I'm saying

Makes me laugh on here, all good reviews and cheap Premiums = 5#. Wait until you actually need MCE to step up and Honour their Policy. You will ALL find out what sort of rubbish Company you have Insured your Vehicle with .....GOOD LUCK !!

I called for a simple renewal, I had made no claims and made sure to upgrade my security and garage situation over the first year with MCE for my motorcycle. From the moment the agent was on the phone he made every attempt to find reasons to charge me more, it felt like he was simply trying to suck money out of my pocket...I was quoted £400 more per year then what I had been originally paying. Their staff have no care for their clients, all they want is your money and when you call for help they will make every attempt to refuse to help you or charge you extra to do so... I returned online, doing everything manually and managed to remain at the same cost.

Absolutely shocking company non fault accident had a car knock my bike over and they haven’t chased up to resolve the problem been 6 weeks and still nothing BEWARE!!!!!!

A 20 min wait for my call to be picked up ,bad start. The woman dealing with my renewal spent a lot of the call time trying to stifle fits of laughter,obviously something entertaining her and her colleagues in the office .but very unprofessional and not instilling me with confidence. Very nearly cancelled the call,still might cancel the policy.

You did not update the system. My motorbike has been seized by the police a day after I renewed my policy. I will do what every it takes so that you compensate every loss of earnings and time that I've lost.

Terrible service - they kept on putting me on hold to different people for an hour to confirm my policy the day after i filled it in online and all of them ask me same questions and put on hold again then someone else picked the phone. Each minute cost me 62p (service charge 55p plus 7p calling charge). I now have a phone bill of over £55 for all the calls to them. On top of this, the policy is not valid for the first 7 days after taking it out - so after spending loads of money I am not even able to use my scooter this week or ensure that it is safe. This is a company looking to make an easy profit and low customer service, I prefer to cancel my policy but it will cost too much to call again.

It took two 15 minute attempts before getting through. Even though it was a UK number, I was answered by a lady in a call centre somewhere other than the UK. The call was deliberately stalled on numerous occasions. Lengthy pauses. Mistakes when repeating things that I had told her even though she was looking at the form I had filled in on line. I guessed when giving her the long card number that she would come back and say 'that was declined, can I take the long car number again?' It is very obvious that the staff are trained to keep the conversation going for as long as possible. Why else have an 08 number?

Awful. Cheap and Awful. hours on the phone for anything that isn't a direct sales meeting. 14-second loop on their hold music. When I actually needed their help it took literally 17 hours over the course of weeks, each with a 40 minute hold wait at the start. Staff were rude and unhelpful

The final price was almost double the initial quote from a comparison site. The agent attributed this to such sites only giving a rough guide. If so, MCE should correct this. Furthermore, though this was a renewal the agent said he could not gain access to my details, obliging me to provide them at length. Interestingly he had no difficulty finding them for a separate discussion of an outstanding claim. MCE has been extremely dilatory in informing me of this claim's progress, and the main reason for re-signing with them is that the claim remains unsettled. Had it been possible not to award stars I would not have done.

You took an extra £32 out of my bank via an online payment, said that the payment had not gone through, so I set up policy over phone, which I paid a deposit, to find out the payment of £32 had actually left, then tell me its upto 14 days for it to be refunded- absolute joke-
