I had a policy out and I had two payments left. The only emailed I received before they cancelled my policy was a normal email saying thank you for choosing to have ur policy emailed not realising there was an attachment to say I missed a payment then I receive another email a week after they cancelled the policy saying we've cancelled they cancelled it on the 28th I recievd the email on the 4th I rang on 7th as soon as they were open. I phoned them up to make the last payments and pay the arrears and charges and I carnt because they've terminated with no actual information but one email that says thank you,so now I lose a years no claims and have to start a new policy because they would rather terminate after almost a years payments well I won't be using them again.

they take your money fast enough but try getting in touch with them, avoid this bunch of marketing scum, go to a decent company instead all big ed and no brain

Very poor assistance from multiple staff memebers. Only a select few try to go above and beyond to help you whereas the othets pass you around like its a game pf pass the parcel. I chased a hire bike for 2 weeks and when it finally turned up, the fuel cap wont open so i am still without. And a month later still none the wiser what is happening with my bike. Long story short, these guys are very wuick to take your money but have no interest in helping you when the time comes.

Was a bit confusing at the beginning as I tried to renew online as suggested via MCE email promo but it did not work with my Multibike insurance. After a couple of tries I had to do over the phone in the end which was easy enough. All went through ok and I received an email that I can download my documents. Good! What I did not understand is that I received two emails that my Insurance had expired with the previous policay number. It was not regoginised that I had renewed since. This was not helpful at all and I was worried that there is an issue with the renewal or that it did not get through. After double checked (payment & policay) all was fine. This I found more confusing than helpful.

Online quote was highly competitive, took policy out online - VERY easy! I paid online, got an email asking me to register my policy straight away. I registered and ALL my documents were there, the whole process took 5 minutes. I am not sure what previous reviewers were doing wrong when they say it takes a hour for the docs to arrive??! I can recommend so far... although the true test of any insurance company is when you come to claim (hopefully you never will!).

Don't buy from them. Their team gave me contradictory information when I wanted to cancel my existing policy and get a fast food delivery one. Charged me for the cancellation even though I was told before that there would be no charges. Spoke to a guy named Iain Forbes in business team. He was very, very rude. While doing the new policy, he actually twice threatened to cancel and not go forward because I asked him if I could wait until my existing policy runs out and at the end get the new one. He insisted that I pay the cancellation fee and buy the new policy that very day or he won't be proceeding with the application because, and I quote 'I kept him waiting for 15 minutes' while I was replying to his email with pics of my driving licence, CBT and NI No. Absolute disgrace how they treat their customers. Secondly, while setting up the direct debit, he asked me how my name appears on my account and I told him exactly how it does which he didn't like and said that he can't set it up unless its my full name on the direct debit mandate, to which I didn't have any issues. But he still showed that he annoyed by saying that he will cancel the whole process if its not my full name on the mandate.

incorrectly sold me an insurance policy, then made me pay the cancellation fee along with waiting 2 hours on the phone. It has been three weeks and they still haven't reimbursed the money I paid. Very poor service.

They might be cheap however they wont support you in a claim, they will make sure that you dont get the money will find any excuses to make you appear as a liar so they dont have to pay. Also I was one day over the 14 day limit which cost me 300 pounds I payed 600 pounds for my insurance and i got back 300. I would not recomend them

Fantastic service! Had a flat tyre and stuck 15 miles from home. Simply called them and within 30 minutes I was at my mechanics! Brilliantly organised, so happy with everything. They keep in touch with you all through the entire process. Would highly recommend. Thank you MCE.

I just cancelled my insurance policy after 9 months because I sold my bike. It figured out that they doesn't do any refunds because this is their "cancellation policy" (I pre-paid 12 months) so they just kept the rest of my money for free. Nice business deal! Wish I could have a business like this! This is simply a bloody robbery.

every time i call i spend at least 20 minutes in a call queue waiting for someone to answer the phone. even after making a complaint - the next day when they called me back they left a message and a number, i called the number and had to go through the standard IVR which involved more waiting. will be adding excessive cost of calls to my request for compensation

very sharky practices when trying to change my bike near to the end of the policy. told me to ring back within 1 calendar month of the policy expiry to they could do an 'early renewal' and 'not lose my NCB'. questioned why i would lose my NCB in any case - was fobbed off and told to ring back. rang back 1 calendar month from renewal to change bike - was told i would get an early renewal. was also told that cover would be granted from 1 month prior to renewal until the next years renewal date. despite getting a years NCB and additional experience my 'renewal premium' was dearer than previous year. when i inspected the documentation i had been sent I noticed that they had charged me a £288 'administration fee' in order to inflate the premium back to what my first years monthly payments were AND the renewal date was then dated from the month earlier date for 12 months and not from when the actual policy renewal was due. Thereby costing me a months cover. WATCH this early renewal offer - its a scheme so they can inflate their sales figures, charge ridiculous fees and overlap policies to cost customers cover. I will be raising this with the FCA and the Financial Ombudsman.
