“The worst customer experience ever. Bike stolen on 13 April. Bike recovered on 15 April by police. Bike being held at MCE's storage facilities since then (over 3 weeks) because they don't know the fee the emergency recovery unit will charge them. Harassed daily by Plantec Assist, MCE's dedicated repairer to authorise repair of the bike when I'm being kept in the dark regarding charges”

“First and foremost they were the cheapest for my kind of bike, and my maximum 9 years no claim. ( although I haven't made any claims for more then 20 years with any previous policy provider). Easy to process my application on line. Fortunately I am accident free to-date, but if they can remain the cheapest policy provider I see no problem renewing my current policy.”

“The only reason they got one star was because you can't give them none , I called for a fully com on line quote , which when I called I couldn't have for some reason , so I ended up going for third party fire and theft , they didn't put the theft on the polices , now my bike been stolen and I can't make a claim , wankers !!!!! Don't go anywhere near these people !!!!!”

“Usually the cheapest on comparison sites, but there is a reason! They are the worst ever!!! Avoid these idiots like the plague. If you are unfortunate enough to to need to make a claim you will regret it, the claims dept are totally useless. Do not use-yup have been warned”

“Totally unhelpful. Took my bike away without asking me where I wanted it repaired. Didn't get it back for six weeks un repaired. Refused to take it to my repairer and dropped it off with more damage to fairings and front indicator at my home address.20 e mails 25 phone calls to get my bike back . cancelled insurance and got ripped off on my refund. This company shouldn't be allowed to get away with this. They are doing this to too many people. Disgraceful.”

“Have used MCE for 2 years. They are usually very well priced and also offer extras like helmet and leather cover as standard, which you normally only get with more expensive policies. Haven't had to claim from them (thankfully), so I can't rate them on that.”

“Bought insurance on,I've, had screenshot to say insured, but no communication. Phoned to ask for acknowledgement, policy etc and couldn't find it- could find my payment and said insured, it's fine and ride on . . . Still no details by end of week so phoned again - no live policy would I like to buy another? Promised to sort it out but no call back so rang again - informed no live policy but they had provided a quote!ni demanded my money back, but couldn't help as no policy to cancel . . . Ignored and no deposit returned, no acknowledgement of my complaint for 1 week, so emailed CEO Julian Edwards and British superbike as MCE are their sponsor - and as if by magic, complaint heard and money refunded . . . . And then told I had a policy all along! Never heard so much bullsh!t in my life. Wouldn't touch with a barge pole!!!!!”
