“Clicked through from Comparethemarket.com to pay as the quote was cheapest by some margin, however, the payment process failed and left me with a blank screen. As I was wanting to ride the bike away immediately, I called the telephone number to check, the voice-recording said they were open and I selected the correct option for new sales. I was then on hold for 25 mins (with the seller waiting!) until I tried the on-line chat and was then told that "Sales are not in on Sundays" and the online agent could not help! In the end, I had to start a new quote from scratch directly on the MCE website and then finally managed to pay the premium. All-in-all, it took about 90 mins of messing about to do what should have taken 5 mins! Not a good first impression...”

“Taken out bike Insurance last year and wanted to renew, tried to chat to them neither customer service or sales could help with renewals and gave me a number to call, waited on hold for 45mins before I have up, on chat again left my details for someone to callback to discuss renewal and also why Insurance cover is £500+ but excess is £1050. Waited for weeks till I had to go online and get a fresh quote as my insurance was running out. Nobody ever got back via phone or email or any other method to discuss renewal or why excess was so high and if it could be lowered. Not very happy but was only affordable Insurance I could get so went with them again. Hoping they might read this and get back if there's something better to offer me, who knows.”

“Yeah ok. Not so great. Couldn't pay on the website, every time I tried it crashed after inputting card details. Called up and the guy with an Arkansas accent wasn't overly helpful. Wouldn't let me do it over the phone then took ages for documents to come through. Cheapest though so...pay peanuts and all that.”
