I have no problems with my policy or the contents of the policy the problem i have is getting hold of my documents from mce, i pay for full comprehensive and pay the full amount (which is taken straight away) every year for the last three years now around the 15th February and can't get hold of them until the day of the policy expiry date 7th March, it takes about three to four phone calls within that time i don't think this is acceptable if this happens again next year i think i will be going to another insurance company. It took one very nice lady Sharon Thurlow who couldn't see what the problem was two seconds to send me my documents.

Christine Howe, Went over and beyond what she was required to do. checking my policy had been changed to my new bike. Then emailing me the documents straight away. staying on the phone until I had read the policy and was happy with the documents... top class service...

If i could give zero stars i would have. This firm are a bunch of thieves and thugs. Threatening at a time when you need to be reassured. Almost feel like my bike was stolen by them.

Always good with dealing with my insurance Only one complaint can not access my new documents Ducati still only ones i can view which have now expired ? could do with that sorting out

I have to say that MCE was the only insurance company that I could afford to get any for of insurance that I could possibly afford that would allow my daughter to be a second rider on my policy. The online quote engine wasn't bad, although it wasn't possible to answer some of the questions. Having gained an execrable quote for a third party Fire & Theft policy I phoned MCE to be given the same basic information a number of time. Di-spite having filled out an inline form and been given a quote No I had to give all of the questions again. And although the online quote engine gave me a fixed quote immediately after filling out the form. the Phone representative kept putting me on hold to get a price for my given insurance. when they finally came back I was less than happy to be given a price over £100- moor than their search engine did ! I was given the reason that I had given incorrect information in the online form. (Remember the online form wouldn't except some answers !) . My Partner in life works for a well known National UK insurance company (Unfortunately they don't do motorcycle insurance !) By all accounts MCE haven't got the best reputation in life ! But for my money, I think that they do have the potential to become one of the best motorcycle insurance company of the UK. They do have room for improvement (As do all companies!) But they do have an opportunity to prove their self's. . The question is! Will they work on supplying a good, fair service ? Or with they speshalise in seeing how far they can hike the prices to fill their shear-holders pockets?

I was very disappointed with the attitude of the member of staff i spoke to. First he was insisting there was a phone delay and was his excuse for talking over me. When i did raise a point he quickly spoke over me so there wasn't that much delay! that leads me to believe he was trying to stall me and keep me on the line for as long as possible. He asked me loads of questions regarding information you already have, i know things change but when your left on hold for nearly four minutes to then have another string of questions that could have been asked while i was on hold. He said he was waiting for the quote to come through, Really? all in all twenty minutes of my time taken for a renewal is poor. I did another quote afterwards on line in FIVE minutes and that was giving them all the information YOU already have! So Disappointed by his rude and stubborn attitude. Regards Garry Cooper.

I renewed my policy on 1/2/17 after already being with MCE for a year and cancelled it today as I have sold my bike with my little boy being born soon. Even though I have only had the policy 41 days I have received only half of the premium I paid back. This is disgusting and will never be using MCE again for any of my other bikes or future purchases.
