“The company have tripled my policy and its impossible to contact them. They make it extremely hard to cancel the policy and change the details on the website. I tried to cancel my policy b4 I incurred any fees but there was no way to contact them until the 14days had passed - which meant I had to pay the cancellation fee”

“Terrible!! Very happy to take the money and give nothing in return. There is no phone contact unless You have some claim. The only contact is via email and for the reply usually You have to wait until next day. I have spent £108 on translation of the NCD proof which met all the requirements mentioned on their website while uploading the NCD proof. And next day company comes back to me with another new requirement my proof do not meet. Clearly to avoid accepting NCD and increase the price. Policy canceled and never going to use this company again.”

Absolute disgrace of a company. We were purposely struck by a white van driver in an act of road rage.
This sham of an insurer decided to accept liability without even asking us what happened or accessing the available CCTV which would definitively prove that we were not in the wrong.
Not a single phone call, all via a web interface with a box for the narrative limited to 200 characters. The systems allows document upload but apparently they cannot accept pdf!? so I email my full statement instead. 9 days later and still no response, just more automated useless emails.
Steer well clear of this 'company', a bunch of fraudsters.”

“The policies are cheap and that will be the only thing that will make you happy. I'd been with them for a couple of years. I recently sold the car so I no longer needed insurance so I cancelled. Quote me happy charged a disqusting £56 for the cancellation. Never would I go with them again and beware that cheap doesn't mean good at all.”

My car was hit by a tree 4 weeks ago
- my repair was given to a 3rd party to manage
- who then gave it to a garage who are (a) Ford (my car is a Nissan) (b) never answer the phone (c) never pick up messages
- despite paying for a courtesy car - none has been provided. I was told “if” they can find one it will be a small car despite my insurance being for a large one (I have 2 under 5s so this really isn’t appropriate)
- I have complained both to Quote Me Happy and the 3rd party “managing” the service. The former haven’t bothered to reply (thought promised they would in 24 hours - it’s been 10 days) - the latter have not addressed the issue at all
So - don’t use them. Even if they are cheaper - it’s not worth it the stress and total lack of support after an accident
Oh and apparently the fact the tree hit me wipes out my no claims - even though it wasn’t my fault. Thanks again

“At the end of my online application I phoned and asked for my application to be cancelled as I had accidentally pressed the one of payment at the start of the application. One month in I find they have taken the whole of my annual premium at once. I cancelled this policy online and have not had any sort of reply just a note on my account it has been cancelled. Have no idea when I will get a refund. Unable to find a telephone number to speak to somebody the only numbers are for claims. I would not recommend this insurer and will never deal with them again.”
